How can I help?

There are a two ways in which you can help. You may purchase a Safety Light for the low cost of $15 or you may make a donation for any amount of money you wish. In the near future you will also be able to order some home made muffins to be delivered to your doorstep, of which 50% of the proceeds will go towards the Earn-A-Bike Program.

The deal is quite simple. Now that I've earned a bike for my daughter, we are continuing to sell the lights in the hopes of getting a bike to give to another boy or girl like Ayla. For every 100 Safety Lights that I sell, Rock-n-Roll Machines will send me a bicycle like the one we received for Ayla. They give incentives for every 20 lights sold; ie: backpack, helmet, etc. The Safety Light is good for anyone who walks or rides a bike. There is an arm band and there is also a clip to attach it to your bike.

The dimensions are approximately 2 1/4" x 1 1/4". There are no batteries provided with the Flashing Safety Light when you order it; but as our thanks, we will include batteries for it. Click here to read how some people are using their Flashing Safety Light.

I was intrigued with this Earn-A-Bike program and I'll tell you why. First - I'm not a rich person by any means and dishing out over $1000 at one shot is by no means an easy feat to do. This program has allowed me to earn the bike for my daughter in a reasonable amount of time while selling a safety product that is worthwhile for the young and old alike. Second - I am hoping that I am able to sell enough lights that I could light up the eyes of another child just like I did my daughters when I told her that I was going to get her a bike of her own to ride; and that my friends......you cannot put a price tag on.

Ordering Lights

I wanted to give several options for people to help out and order lights. I have a payment button for those who wish to purchase a light and can easily and safely do so with a debit card or credit card; next I have a donation button for those who wish to not receive a light or who cannot afford a light but would like to help us reach our goal; and finally for those who are not comfortable buying things online; obtain an order form and I give my address where you can send me a check made payable to Shine-A-Light.

Note: I do have some lights on hand at the moment but generally the way the program works is I send in orders for 20 lights at a time to Rock-n-Roll Machines and they in turn send me the 20 lights so that I can distribute the lights to those who ordered them. If you are far away I will mail the light to you; battery included. If you are close by, I will deliver the light to you personally or you are more than welcome to come by and pick it up.

Make check payable to: Shine-A-Light
and send to:
