Since the 'Taylor Report' published it's findings on the state of Stadiums in English Football we have seen many improvements at our games. We have decent facilities and many of the new Stadiums are amongs't the best in the World. Sadly one aspect of the report has also led to the demise in atmosphere and the rocketing prices to get into games. Allseater stadium's.

The logic that Stadiums can only be safe if they are Allseater is rubbish. Only the Premier league demands that it's grounds are Allseater. The Nationwide league has thousands of fans standing at 'Old' stadiums every week and we do not see any of the disasters that the government predict would happen if the Premier leagues fans stood at their games.

Technology has moved on since the 1980's and stadiums can easily be designed to include areas of safe standing.
