The Boleyn Ground

The Boleyn Ground, the real name for the Stadium that is home to West Ham United.

The Ground has seen major changes in recent years, firstly the West Side lost it's standing in the lower section of the stand, the atmosphere in there was fantastic and it was a shame to lose that part of the terraces. The seats went into the Chicken Run ( East Stand Lower ), the North Bank was replaced with the Centenary Stand and of course the delapidated South Bank fell over and up went the Bobby Moore Stand. Next came 'The Doctor Martins Stand' which is the replacement for the West Stand, and we are told there are plans to fill in the corners and replace the East Stand turning 'The Boleyn' into a 40,000 all seater stadium.
