Texas Hold'em Rules are easy to learn if you already know basic poker hands. The best poker hand from the combination of the 2 pocker cards dealt to each player and the 5 community cards on the board is the winner. 2 players directly to the left of the dealer put up blind bets to start each game. The dealer position rotates clockwise after each game is over. The community cards are dealt 3 for the flop, then 1 called the turn and last card called the river. Betting starts before the flop and after the initial deal, then more betting after the flop, turn and river and finally the showdown. Players must call or raise the initial blind bets, and thereafter check, call or raise according to what current status is. Even at the lowest limits of 50c, it is possible for the pot to grow large if bets are raised to the max. And when the pot is large, somebody is winning big and somebody is losing big. Make sure you are on the good side of these events. If the betting gets frantic, and you have just a high pair, think about living to fight another day. If you are not the one betting but rather the one getting dragged into action you are not sure you need to be in, its never too late to get out. Calling aggressive bets just to see what the opp is holding can become an expensive lesson. Let someone else do the calling and if you discover that someone likes to bluff, you know what to do next time. Let em bluff when you are holding the winning hand.
