This is the main character of the story. A duck?? Yes, a little duck who can turn into a girl with the help of Drosselmeyer, who gave her a magical pendant. She decided to transform into a girl to help the prince to recover his heart |
| and feelings. She can be kinda clumsy as a girl and gets nervous easily and says "Quack!".That turns her into a duck again. Maybe she is not the best dancer in the school but she has a big heart. |

She has a crush on Mytho. When she feels a piece of his heart near she turns into princess Tutu, a magical ballerina in order to give it back to him. She cannot tell him how she feels about him, otherwise she will disappear. |

He is the prince of the story. When he fought the raven he pierced his heart in order to save other people. Since then he has no feelings left and he will recover them little by little with Princess Tutu's help. |
| He tends to hurt himself to help others (like jumping from a window to save a bird and things like that). Usually Fakir is telling him what he can and cannot do. He does what Fakir and Rue tell him to. He is the best dancer in the school and everybody admires him but few people know his story and how he is suffering. |

He is calm and serious, he is always keeping an eye on Mytho to prevent him to be in trouble. He can look like a pain at first sight, but he is not so bad. He has a tender side who likes animals (at least ducks) |
| He is the reincarnation of the knight from the story, who was torn in two when he tried to protect the prince, he has a sort of trauma with this and fear can take the best of him in a battle but if it's for the sake of his loved ones he will try to overcome it. He is kinda introverted and will keep his troubles to himself. Dance is a way to get rid of bad feelings to him. |

She is the best female dancer in the school. She has lots of admirers but she doesn't have real friends. She is a bit selfish and wants Mytho to herself. She claims to be his girlfriend. |
| Mytho is obsessed with Princess Tutu and Rue gets so jealous that she turns into Princess Kraehe. She doesn't want Mytho to have his heart back because she feels she won't be able to be with him anymore. |

She always appears playing an organ and selling jewells. When Ahiru is in trouble she gives her advices. But she doesn't move by herself but following orders from Drosselmeyer. |
