Malibu moved to RPP from the show in mid-2003, where she performed in shows regularly each day. She had been in the show her whole life. She was born in the show pool. She spent her first few weeks at RPP in the wave pool, but she has made her way out into the interactive pool. While at RPP she made quick friends with some of the younger dolphins, including Beaker, Copper, Pacino and Madison. She also quickly became one of the most interactive dolphins. Later in her stay at RPP she could usually be seen with Madison (now at Discovery cove, FL) who had also moved over to RPP from DIP/show at about the same time she had. She is very interactive with people and loves to have water splashed in her mouth. Strangly at the end of her stay at RPP she no longer liked to interact, it may have been due to her pregnancy. Unfortunately she gave birth to a stillborn during the summer of 2004. She had come to RPP to do "a little bit of growing up." She was very immature and trainers said "she couldn't express herself very well." Probably due to the fact that her mother was always there to protect her. She did grow up during her stay at RPP. She even became independent, which was a very good thing since her mother died not long after she was moved back to the show pool. She is currently in the show pool where she performs most frequently with Melanie, Corona, Purina and Bullet.

Physical description: She is a small slender dolphin. Her face is dark in comparison to her body. She has a dark chin with a white spot, long thin rostrum, and very sharp white teeth. The rake marks on her back are more noticeable than most.
Dolphin you may be most likely to confuse her with: Melanie, now that Malibu is getting older.
