Name: Madison
Species: Atlantic Bottlenose Dolphin
Gender: Female
Birth date: 3/31/2000
Birth place: SWC
Mother: Melanie
Father: Phil (SWF)
Grandmother: Scarback
Transfers:
From SWC to Discovery Cove Florida 4/4/2004
From DC to SWF in 2006? She is in the petting pool at SWF
She was born at dolphin stadium in front of an audience that came to see the routine dolphin show. The audience ended up getting something better. She spent the first part of her life with her mother in the show. She would make an appearance, but would not do behaviors. When she was old enough to be separated from Melanie, she started doing DIP. While Penny was pregnant, Madison stayed with her most of the time.
She was switched over to RPP at the beginning of 2004 year, to join the other baby girls. The show is now full of little boys. She is a small dolphin, very light in color. She has a VERY round head, not many rake marks. She is very pretty. She is one of the most interactive dolphins I have ever met, and she is always happy. On days no one else wanted to play I would always be greeted by Madison. She comes up to almost anyone, wanting water trickled over her body. She is very sweet and gentle. While at RPP her best bud was Malibu, they could almost always be seen together.
