He was what became the first, third generation of Shamus when Kalina had Keet, her mother Katina (SWF) became the first orca grandmother in captivity. He is known for being the first "grandbaby Shamu."
Keet interacts with guests on a regular basis, but he seems to be growing out of it. When there is another male orca in the pool he usually will not come over to play as much.
Keet is growing fast and he is in the stage that his dorsal, flukes and pectoral flippers will soon grow large.

Weight: about 4,800 lbs
transfers: He was born at SWT. He was then taken to SWC on November 7, 1999. He was next taken to SWO on April 15, 2000.
He was just moved from SWO back to SWC on Feb 15, 2001 along with Sumar, who was moved to SWC on Feb 18, 2001. Keto was taken to SWT on 2-18-01.
He was moved from SWC to SWT on April 24, 2004.
Keet has a huge head and a huge mouth, and he loves to play with his tongue. His dorsal fin leans to the right, but has not yet started to have a permanent curl to it.
