Name: Gracie
Species: Pacific Bottlenose Dolphin
Gender: Female
Captured: 2/20/1977
Calves: Beaker and Jones (deceased, b: 10/19/1998 d: 4/14/2000)
Grandchildren: Bunsen, Captain
Nicknames: Grace, Grace Face, and one of the trainers called her Big G once lol! (I'm not sure if that last nickname is used often)

Gracie had a stillborn in August 2005 so she is now in DIP.
She is a sweet dolphin for the most part, and loves her rubdowns, she comes up for long ones. She has an attitude but she is a big sweetie when she wants to be, she is one of my favorites. She loves hanging out with the calves, and was closest to Copper. She was a loner while at RPP until Stein was moved there. The two hung out a lot. Now she is in DIP. She hasn't participated in a DIP session yet. You can usually see her in a back DIP pool doing non-stop bows. She does the bows usually when she sees a trainer. Probably because they don't give her as much attention as she is used to. At RPP she was given all the attention she could possibly ask for. If she wanted a rub down there was always a guest or a trainer to give it to her. Now at DIP she is ignored a lot more, and she is just not used to it.

Physical description: She is a large female dolphin, the largest in the pool She is dark gray, probably closer to black, and has small squinty eyes, many people ask if she even has eyes, the answer is yes. She has worn down teeth, and a white lower chin. Her under belly is gray instead of white. She has a small nick in her dorsal fin.
Dolphin you may be most likely to confuse her with: none
