Newborn Charlie He was born through artificial insemination. He is Purina's first calf. He moved to RPP from the show at the end of 2004. When he first came to RPP Purina was with him. She was only there for a couple of months before she was moved to DIP. He was the first calf born in 2003 to be weaned from his mother. His favorite hang out buddies include, Nitro, Razzle (no longer at RPP), Venus and Zana. He is really interactive for the most part but is one of the least interactive juveniles/calves in the pool. Now that there are 4 other juveniles (Zana, Nitro, Venus and newcomer Deke) without mothers Charlie has lots of playmates. In his last year at RPP he had started getting aggressive with the other juveniles. I personally found it hard to interact with them at times, because Charlie and Nitro would be making a fuss.
On July 25, 2007 Charlie, along with Nitro, was moved to the navy.
Physical description: He is the darkest baby in the pool. Even though he is older than both Zana and Nitro by a couple of months he is smaller than both of them. He has many rake marks. The easiest way to pick him out of the crowd is his rostrum. It has a piece missing out of the right upper part. He had been playing with a toy to roughly, and he hurt his rostrum. He needed stiches. He also has a chunk missing from the tip, trailing edge of is dorsal.
