The Edge Chronicles Theories: Why Capitals?

If you're like us and look at book covers closely, you may have noticed that on each Edge Chronicles book the word EDGE is printed in capitals.
This made me think that E.D.G.E. had to stand for something, and we came to the conclusion that E.D.G.E. stands for:
Elite Demon Guardians' Excretions

However, if this is the case, the S.E.D.G.E. Chronicles must stand for:
Super Elite Demon Guardians' Excretions.

Maybe not....
Another theory is they are trying to differentiate between the SEDGE Chronicles and the EDGE Chronicles, which is not very likely either since the EDGE Chronicles were out much longer than the SEDGE Chronicles.
