Since both Maki and Kai are now in the top 10 they get GPS wristwatches. It's explained that with these, they see their own position in the city as well as the other top 10 fighters. All the fights are broadcast for a large Fukamichi Ranking following. The fights are expensive to broadcast and Maki has piled up alot of prize money so far. Maki and Kai see opponents on their watches and move to meet them. Maki finds her opponent in a large abandoned building. He is Ogata and he uses techniques, devices, and suggestion to emulate ninja techniques. He gives Maki problems early by shuffling his feet in such a way as to move around without moving his upper body. This creates the illusion of unseen movement that makes it tough to judge the distance between the two. Elsewhere Mina and company are once again searching for Maki and they follow Renge as she uses her 'Ajarashi Power' to do the tracking. When Maki overcomes the Ogata's initial assault, he begins shuffling feet to kick up dust and obscure vision. He also uses a high pitched whistle that digs in Maki's eardrums and causes dizziness. With Maki off balance he uses the suggestion of multiple images. When Maki attacks an image, Ogata attacks her from her blind side. Finally Maki is able to land a hard enough kick to get a break from the whistle and she finishes the match with her Air Cut Terminator. Maki is now ranked number 5. She then leaves the building and finds Mina and company looking for her. Elsewhere, Kai and Miori find Kai's next opponent. Kinjiro.
