Air Master

Maki wakes up and thinks back on how she was defeated. Shigeo knocked her into the air and caught her with a perfectly timed combo on her way down. Upset, not so much about her defeat as the fact that he held back on the finish, Maki jumps off the rooftop to street below and runs after Shigeo. Kai decides to follow but discovers in mid air that her legs aren't long enough to break her fall like Maki. Her life flashes before her eyes but she gathers her wits and improvises a way to land safely. Miori and Yashiki catch up to her and the three split up with Miori and Kai going after Maki and Yashiki going his way. Elsewhere, Fukamichi sets up a match with a 10th ranked boxer for Kinjiro to join the Fukamichi rankings. The boxer gives Kinjiro problems with his speed and moves till Kinjiro solves the problem by grabbing onto him and smashing him into a wall with one of his hard punches. Yashiki arrives and picks a fight with another fighter to get ranked again. He distracts his opponent by talking on and on and then drops him with his Originator attack when he least expects it. Back to Maki, before she finds Shigeo, she runs into Mina. Mina looks distressed so she decides to go with her to a movie instead. They watch a samurai movie where Maki gets an idea for move for Shigeo. The next day, Maki, Kai, and Miori are walking Mina home when they meet Yu, Michiru, and Renge at a video game tournament. Yu and Michiru are entered and everyone stays to watch. Yu and Michiru both lose and Maki sees the guy that beat them. It's Shigeo. Maki and Shigeo square off and Shigeo goes on to mention that his fighting style is derived from the fighting video game they were just playing. Maki declares she will beat him in one second. Shigeo leads off and Maki stops him in his tracks with a sniper technique and finishes him with her new move that Kai names the Air Cut Terminator. Maki is now ranked 6th. Fukamichi was watching and he motions Maki over. He tells her she can now move to a level reserved only for the top 10. He gives her a GPS wristwatch and tells her now the whole city is the arena for the next matches.
