Their beloved city is over run with crime. During a speech by Chokkei's idol, Mayor Light, gang punks arrive to make a big show of their power. The "Lord of Darkness" underworld boss Dolmeck, shows up to put the gang punks in their place as a gesture to gain the mayors cooperation. Mayor light has vowed to be on the side of justice and won't back down to criminal demands. Before things get out of hand, Chokkei's grandfather Danbei disperses Dolmeck and his cronies with his back pack rocket launcher. Later, Chokkei tells Danbei about what a great guy Mayor light is and Danbei mentions that if only Cutey Honey, a heroine from long ago, were around. Chokkei mentions the Mayors secretary Honey Kisuragi. Danbei and Chokkei rush over to see her. With a few words from Danbei and help from circumstances, Miss Kisuragi 're-awakens' into Cutey Honey. Cutey honey is an android that can transform (costume change) into many different professions using their abilities, like an armored warrior, Rambo gal, nurse, a Speed Racer type biker gal, etc... with her best fighting form being a swords woman. Together, they start working their way through various bad guy henchman with their sights set on Dolmeck.
