Ebichu
Created by : Lisa Itou Genre : Comedy A comedy about a hamster named Ebichu who loves ice cream, cheese and doing anything to help her master, Office Lady or to hinder Office Lady's unfaithful boyfriend. She cleans, shops, does laundry and sometimes dons her Ebichuman costume to become the cities 'sexual savior'. She happily does her best but gets into trouble by misunderstanding things and/or makes ill timed comments. |

Very funny for the most part but a lot of gags and puns that have to be explained to get (though many still are funny thanks to a great job by subtitlers). Late night anime just a hair shy of being hentai as many jokes are of a sexual nature and often depicted in a near graphic manner (showing the deed minus the parts). Most are kind of funny, some I didn't get, and some were hilarious. Like in one particular instance, Office Lady was punching out her boyfriend in one scene and making up in the next and the soundtrack remained the same throughout. |
