Episode 6 - Yoko is riding her bike through town and spots an ad for a ramen eating contest. Word spreads fast and soon all of the 801st is entered. As the day of the contest approaches, rivalries sprout up, plans gets hatched, and the whole base is betting on the outcome. Episode 7 - Saginomiya is dusting in Konishi's office when she finds an old keepsake that she remembers from long ago. She the recalls the drama and romance of when her career was just beginning.

Impossible for me to say what this series is about as the episodes I saw, 6 and 7, were as different as night and day. Episode 6 was a good comedy and episode 7 was a romance drama. Fairly well drawn, likeable characters, and worth a look.
