Campus War Muryou
Written by : Tetsuo Sato Genre : Adventure / Action / Sci Fi It's the year 2070. A top shaped UFO is hovering over the city and causing a major power outage. Most people are feeling a little inconvenienced from this. On top of a nearby building is Muryou, eating a snack and watching. Barely batting an eye when a huge mecha appears out of nowhere and destroys the UFO. After the UFO is destroyed, power returns and Muryou goes about his business. The next morning, Hazime watches the morning news. Government officials are making a late announcement about how space aliens exist. He goes to school and finds a new student is in his class, Muryou, who wears an old style school uniform when nobody else has for many years. The two become fast friends and go together to watch the student council give speeches about school events at an assembly. One of the council, Moriguchi, takes note of Muryou in the crowd. Later, Hazime goes looking for Muryou and finds him on the school roof. Apparently Moriguchi has already challenged him to a fight. Moriguchi demands of Muryou what 'you people' want. Moriguchi then uses what Hazime refers to as ancient martial arts and sends a large blast of energy at Muryou. Muryou easily blocks it and offers to teach Moriguchi a better way. He then casually creates a softball sized energy ball and sends it at Moriguchi who barely blocks it. |

After watching one episode, I would say it looks pretty good. Could shape up to be a good action series or adventure series. Nicely drawn, likable characters and an interesting premise. |
