Bio: Lorelei made her first debut in the Red, Blue, and Green versions of the Pokemon game. (Green only premiered in Japan.) Lorelei is the first person you meet in the Elite-Four in the Red and Blue versions and the later Yellow Pokemon game. Although she was the easiest to beat, her icy personality inspired us all! (What, it didn't? Well, it inspired me...)
That was all we ever heard of her until she got her twenty-five minutes of fame in her first ever TV premiere in the Orange Islands episode "The Mandarin Island Miss Match" where her name was changed to Prima. (Her name stayed the same in the Japanese version, "Lorelei of the Elite Four, Ice Duel!") (Some people say that Prima is just a pen name, or rather a dubbing error; I really don't know) (I like the name Lorelei better, it just rolls off your tongue, Lorelei... What?! FOR THE LAST TIME, NO I AM NOT CRAZY!!!!!!!!)
In the cartoon, she owns a cottage on the island of Mandarin of the Orange archipelago.
Here is a picture of her house. This must show you that she has some money. (I did not know that Elite Four members got paid so much!)
Porygon: "Stay to the point!"
Oh! Right! Umm... Where was I... Oh, Yes! She trains there in the Indigo League off-season, which means she is only there once every League year. She trains Ice/Ice-hybrid Pokemon and seems to have a close bond with them. She also has a strange "split personality", if you will, that causes her to be gentle and as apathetic as a Quagsire out of battle. But as soon as the battle begins (And I quote!) "When I'm not battling I try to go with the flow; but as soon as the battle starts, I become as unforgiving as ice then I melt right back and flow on." (End quote) Personally, I do not like the split personality given to her by the writers. (I call this the ice syndrome.)
Her personality really does change, here is a picture of her eye outside of battle: (Water-mode) And here is a picture of it in battle: (Ice-mode) Hey! Did you know that she is right handed?! (Hey, I said I list everything!:D)
Other Prima /Lorelei appearances came out later such as: "Pokemon Puzzle League": for the N-64, with a ton of characters to choose from. (Including Lorelei!) Personal Note: "Is it just me, or is Lorelei's skirt shorter in this game?" O.o;;;
Here are some pictures, sorry they are not of the best quality.

In Pokemon Puzzle League when you defeat an Elite-Four member in the 1P Stadium you earn an "Elite Metal". (Which proves that you did so.)
The Elite Four members in this game are: Ritchie, Lorelei, Bruno, and Gary. Each metal is different for each person, (Except for Gary, you get the championship trophy when you defeat him.) Here is a picture of Lorelei's metal:
"POKEMON MASTER TRAINER": a little kid's game, but it has Elite Four trainer cards with all of the Elite Four on it including Lorelei. Personal Note: "What can I say? This game is kind-of stupid, But like I said the Elite Four card has a very nice picture of all of the Elite Four. (Lorelei looks Cute/Cool on it.) I have a picture of this card
Here!
"POKEMON MONOPOLY": A take-off of the original Monopoly with a Pokemon twist. Personal Note: "Okay, so this one is kind of a stretch, but the game does have an Elite Four card with all of the Elite Four on it!" ^_^ Click Here To See Pic!
After the episode, "The Mandarin Island Miss Match" (Darn! That episode was so short!) (Sadly) that is the last we hear of Prima, until the episode "Wired For Battle!" (You know the Scizor episode!) When Ash is battling Shingo's "Blade", (The Scizor)
Misty recalls Prima's wise-words-of-wisdom after Brock says: (And I quote!) "Ash is really in tune with his Pokemon, and he trusts his instincts; but Shingo is putting all his trusts in his data instead of in himself." And then Misty goes on in saying: (I love this part!;) "Yeah, Prima from the Elite Four told us that you have to rely on the strength from inside." (End quote)
I almost jumped for joy the first time I heard this; (Or something like that.) they actually did remember Prima's wise words of wisdom! So see, she did help, at least a little! ^_^
I also have this weird thing about her being farsighted instead of nearsighted; but, I'm not 100% sure on that, it's just an idea I had that had to do with this picture.
Here is another weird thing... Her name! Her Japanese name, Kanna, is also the name of a plant called canna. "Yeah, and?" You may ask, well, I will tell you! The writers of Pokemon are perverts!!!!!
Porygon: "Yeah, and? We already knew that!"
Yes, yes, yes! But I did some research on what the plant is and this is what I found...
Canna is a common name for a family of flowering plants, herbaceous in habit, with large, showy flowers.
Known for their flowers and lush foliage, having no real natural enemies, canna plants seem to be content to live in any environment, as long as there is a good source of water.
Porygon: "Yeah, that was kind of perverted,
and just a little bit disturbing. -_-;;;"
See!? I told you so, and if you don't believe me look it up in your dictionary; it will say basically the same thing! And if you are just dying to see what a Canna plant looks like here are some pictures:Canna pic1Canna pic 2
Here's another weird name thing, her name Lorelei
means, "The German Mermaid" (I think...)
Porygon: "Oh, so she's German too!"
Oh, one more thing!
Did you know that you can see Prima every time an Orange Island episode comes on?!!!!
Well, sort of...
In the theme song, right after the guy says "So you want to be a master!?" And all the water Pokemon fire their attacks, we see a Kadabra getting thrashed by a Cloyster's Blizzard attack. That Cloyster is Prima's Cloyster!!!!!
How do I know? Because it is the same battle scene as in "The Mandarin Island Miss Match" episode!
How do I know that? Because I have seen that episode like, 31 times!
Here is a pic of the event.
