Chapter 1 - Origins
Port Chester Ultimate Frisbee had its begining in 1998. It all started when a group of social misfits grew tired of playing hacky-sac in their spare time. The legendary Reymond decided to make a change when he intoduced frisbee to Port Chester High School. Throwing and catching the disk caught on quickly. It was not long before frisbee replaced hacky-sac's place in the student's lives.

At first the disk was just thrown around during free periods and after school to pass the time. However, this soon changed. One day, an unusually large group of students assembled after school. Since the number was so great, the group decided to attempt to play Ultimate. Although rough around the edges, this was the first game of Ultimate at Port Chester High School. And to the regrets of many, it was not the last.

Although the participants in the first game of PC Ultimate had a great time, many would never participate again. Only a few from that game would continue the tradition. Luckily, others took interest and a large group of regular players formed.

Today Port Chester Ultimate has a relatively large following. Some are hardcore participants who come all the time, while others are casual and play once in a while. Although games were once scheduled year long, Port Chester Ultimate has now become a summer tradition. All are welcome to play as long as they do not cause trouble for the group. Without players there would be no games. For that reason a big THANKS goes out to all of those that have participated in making Port Chester Ultimate a success!
