About Avaro
Avaro was born on July 17th, 1986 to a female named Anwar. The name Avaro is a Latin word for white. Unfortunately, he was too much of a handful for Anwar, being her first calf. Eventually, she rejected him at the age of two and Avaro wandered alone for a roughly year. That was until he found and was accepted by another pod, led by a female called Adisa. Avaro, being an albino, attracts a lot of attention. Fishermen actually tried to capture him once, to sell to the captivity industry, but it didn't work and the fisherman were brought up on charges. Avaro loves his sleep, and tries to get as much rest as he can. When he is not sleeping, he seems to be eating, but stays as fit and healthy as ever. He occasionally gets his active spurts and when he breaches it is a magnificent and rare sight, because of his coloration. He is very much loved by tourists, as one can imagine. He seems to know this, and is a big show off when it comes to impressing them. So far, Avaro has fathered one calf: a daughter named A9/Wachiwi. She was born on September 21st, 2004 and was mothered by A6/Kalara.
