I did not discover the world of HIGHLANDER until 2003, almost ten years after the series first aired. I love having a few new characters and a new canon to work into my stories. I hope you enjoy these stories. Please note ratings and warnings on all stories. Please note that most HIGHLANDER stories are slash. Easier to mark those which aren't.

A FINE WOMAN Written for Slash Advent Calendar's 2005 challenge "lovers meet after a long time and sparks fly." Methos has a new life and a new lover, but Duncan is never far from his mind. Adult.

DIDN'T HE RAMBLE Another "remix story." Methos and Joe prepare for a funeral.

A PRETTY GOOD BLUES SONG Set in the mid-1960's, Methos travels the United States. Only a few faces stand out in the crowds. Not slash, but drugs and alcohol.

A WINTER'S SNOW Duncan has a secret wish and a very interesting way of revealing it to Methos.A "remix story. Adult."

BUYING TIME Written in Highlander REMIX challenge. Methos buys a little time before being found by Kronos.(Not slash)

WASTE Improbable Andromeda/Highlander crossover. General Lach (Methos) searches space for a cure for a manufactured disease . . . and a missing MacLeod. Rated PG-13.

BORN ON Joe and Methos discuss the celebration of Duncan's birthday. Very soft R, because implies relationship.

SON OF THE WINE Ancient immortal has a sparce existance in a remote town. A visitor kidnaps him and gives him a name Rated R.

SLUT OF THE MONTH CLUB Methos has a visitor who relates tales of the men in his life the last month. Answer to "one of your characters is a slut challenge."

SUCH IS THE NATURE OF INSANITY in an unusual pairing challenge, Michael Moore, examines his feelings and relatonship with Duncan MacLeod. (Rated R.)

JOE’S GOOD WITH SECRETS returns to an earlier meeting between Adam Pierson and a young Joe Dawson. A bottle of scotch, four flights of stairs, and a most interesting fetish lead to a night of excitement and a lifetime of understanding. (Rated R.)

SECOND ANNIVERSARY by aethervox takes Duncan and Methos to New York two years after the attack on the World Trade Center on a night when ghosts walk. A tribute to broadcast engineers who lost their lives during this attack, this story also features Connor MacLeod.Rated NC-17.

THE GERMAN DOCTOR II Same title completely different story. This story is set "outside" the Highlander canon (that was the challenge) but I attempt to keep it close except for the details of Duncan and Methos meeting. Set in post-WWII time period it shows a different aspect of Methos. Rated R for slash.

EVENTUALLY. . MAYBE Hercules/Highlander X-over. A person from Methos's past comes with memories and a message. Rated R for slash.

THE GERMAN DOCTOR A doctor's role is to heal. An immortals role is to live. Sometimes there is a conflict. Sometimes you realize you have made a mistake. Not slash.

LET DREAMS UNFOLD tells the first time story between Duncan and Methos. Just because it is not not what either expected, does not mean it was unplanned. (Rated NC-17 for m/f and m/m sex. Non-con?

THE FIRST SON is a crossover between Highlander and the New Zealand movie series LAWLESS. In this story Duncan travels to New Zealand in search of rubies and discovers a private investigator who may be an immortal -- he can't be sure. If he is, he may need to take his head; if he isn't, well what is he? Adult -- but not slash.

NO ONE ASKS YOUR NAME AT AN ORGY is a crossover with Ares (Xena). It was written for a KSAres, Ares in Rome, challenge and is rated NC-17. It is also slash. A mortal Ares (from season six Xena) goes to an orgy and meets a very interesting (if a little strange) man. Warning -- this may contain the worst pick-up line of all time!

JUST THE SCOTCH TALKING is another Ares X-over. This time it is Duncan who meets Ares in modern day Rome. Why is Methos not surprised?

AMANDA'S GIFT is a short attempt at Advent Calandar humor even if it is a little slashy. So short a summary would probably be longer than the story.

CHRISTMAS TREASURE is another Advent Calendar story which is NC-17 rated. Methos and Duncan share something old and special.

LAYOVER is a crossover between Highlander and Robin Hood (all versions) set in a modern airport. Methos is trying to get to Seacover, Mary Ann is trying to get home but a lot happens during the layover. Probably rated R for slash.

TODAY IS NOT THE DAY AFTER YESTERDAY A Xena/Highlander crossover that retells the story of WHEN FATES COLLIDE through the eyes of a visiting academic with more than a passing interest in history and time. Not slash.

AND. . . Answer to a dialog challenge by Lady Kardasi. A walk by the river may lead to something else -- preslash.

ASCENSION by Pun. When I first read this piece, I knew I had to have it on my webpage. It is everything my writing is not – soft and slow and sensual. But don’t let the style fool you, this story will not only fog up the windows; it will melt the glass. NC-17.

STRAIGHT AND LOW by esjay. This story kept me laughing for a solid hour and was so vivid that I swore I was watching an episode of HIGHLANDER on some super-secret pirate DVD. Imagine a super horny Duncan, a straight, snarky Adam, and the realization that one of them must die. Don't eat, don't drink, just read and laugh. NC-17
