Eat at Falafel's

This is a response to the May 2004 Story Challenge to create a menu for the most famous chef in ancient Greece.

New Menu at Falafel’s Pita Palace, Agora Mall and Downtown Corinth on the Palace Plaza

Hero Burger: ½ lb of prime chuck, cooked perfectly medium rare and served with lettuce, sprouts, sliced cucumber, and hummus. So wholesome and good for you!

Iolaus Burger: Same as the Hero Burger, but smaller and served with a dash of hot sauce for a bit of extra flavor! A favorite with our lady customers.

God of War Sandwich: Mounds of sliced ham with hot mustard, served on black bread. It’ll have you shouting for more!

King’s Special: A carefully selected combination of sliced beef and big cheese, neatly wrapped in fresh Corinthian pita bread. Midnight orders from the Palace are not unknown!

Xena Platter: A whole roasted chicken served with a round of pita bread. Tear it limb from limb to get every bit of flavor!

Autolycus Special Platter: A combination of items stolen from our other menu selections. Features honey roasted ham and cracked pepper. It’s the King of Midnight Snax!

Salmoneus Special: Your choice of any menu item, two for the price of one! Available every second Tuesday between 10 and noon. Or make us an offer!

Alcemene’s Special Salad: Fresh greens from local gardens, with carrots, cucumber, celery, sprouts, and a delicious homemade dressing. Served with a glass of lemonade like Mom used to make!

Aphrodite Salad: Like the Alcemene, but with our Green Goddess dressing. Fried oysters on request.

Strife Breakfast Special: Scrambled eggs, spam, bacon, eggs, spam, sausage, spam, spam, and spam.

Cheiron’s Favorite: A big bowl of creamy oatmeal. A breakfast favorite, but served any time.

Bard’s Special Desserts: Ask your server to show you the tray of home baked goodies! Sweet tarts, cakes, scones, and fruit pies. Some half-baked and some with nuts but all delicious!

New summer hours: Falafel’s is now open from 6:00am until midnight Monday thru Thursday, 6:00am until 2:00am on Friday, 8:00am until 2:00am on Saturday, and from 8:00am until 2:00pm on Sunday for our fabulous brunch buffet. All you can eat for only 10 dinars!
