Here the two remaining puppies enjoy a relaxing moment after their little sister left for her new home. These two males were practically identical but it was fairly easy to identify one from the other. The facial hair on one male had grown so long that his eyes became hidden from view. Once I trimmed back the hair from around his eyes I had a very hard time telling one puppy from the other.

Can you tell the difference? Even their personalities are similar. Neither puppy will back down from the other when they struggle to claim the grand prize fighting title of "Alpha Male". Here they playfully attempt to swallow each other's head.

The last of the YorkiePoo Puppies An open door policy Momma plays with her last puppy
Like father, like son

Suddenly all by himself, the last male puppy had no one left with which to cuddle. All he could do was sit in the play pen alone, whimpering as his world walked on by. So, I opened up the gate and he was no longer all alone. Matza, Max and even his father, Bisket, slowly but surely came by to visit. One small puppy wasn't quite as intimidating as before when all five hyperactive monsters where here to attack them all at once. Now he spent most of his time outside the play pen taking naps nearby my chair. He also began taking more interest in his family, following his parents as they moved about the house. He even was responsible enough to return to the papered pen for potty time.

The last of the puppies is gone. They have all moved on to their new homes, providing unconditional love and joy for their new families. Here, the house seems somewhat somber. I've been slow to clean up the leftover papers from the pen. Every page of news I pick off the floor is like picking through the memories of the past three months. The parents occasionally sniff about the area where the play pen once stood. They nudge at toys that still smell of the puppies that once played with them. And life slowly reverts to the normalcy of a three dog household.
