The first two weeks were relatively effortless. The puppies had two main activities, eating and sleeping, while Momma kept them warm and dry. Being her third litter, Matza was comfortable leaving the puppies alone, trusting me to care for them while she rested or went outside to stretch. The nest was larger and taller for this litter and much better protected. The house came alive to the sounds of chirping birds and cooing pigeons. It's so funny, they look like mice but they sound like birds. |
