Euonymus
Fortunei is for Libster - it is one of the most waterwise plants I know. It
is tougher than goats knees, isn't fussy about soil and will withstand whatever
mother nature throws up. It is very slow growing though - this one is 5 years
old.
For
those who like blue flowers, this is Ceanothus (or Californian Lilac) in flower.
It is not as showy as usual but hardly surprising given the drought.
This
is the ponds taken from the w/mill. Shows the water lilies flowering and a fish
or two.
This
is my windmill and its surrounds. It pumps water from the bottom pond up to
the top pond which overflows back to the bottom so that the water is continually
being recycled.
