Peach nectarine with its crop in evidence (one nectarine) I'm not sure if
the birds got it or it got eaten as it wasn't there when I got back from down
south.
the vegy garden in full flight if you look closely below the mutant mega
corn you can just see mum poking here head above the tomatoes. To the right
in front are brussel sprouts which look like they might actually produce a
nice crop. They were purely an experiment but seem to be working. At the bottom
are herbs in the bessa brick retaining wall which has been an enormous success.
The
garden bed I renovated now has the beginnings of a little lavender
hedge along the clothesline side and the flowers (hollyhocks, foxgloves,
petunias, snapdragons, pinks, etc) have all thrived except for the
snapdragons which started well but let the side down in the end. The
apricot and the two ballerina apples have grown huge amounts. All in all
an extremely successful project.
It
is the Catalpa tree before Christmas when it was in full flower. It now has
beans all over it and is starting to attract King Parrots.
