Male
Captured 1998 or 1999
@ Marineland May 30 1999 - Present
Personality Notes: Beyli was usually kept in the side pool alone, until 2008. He can be uncooperative and it's awfully hard to get photos of him above water! He doesn't do petting sessions. He's fantastic with babies, and is very gentle with them.

ID Notes: Beyli's also pretty easy to ID, if you ever see him. He's almost always in the side pool and there are no underwater windows there, and he doesn't raise his head out of the water much. Recently, however, he's been placed with the mothers and calves in the front pool, so at last people can see him properly. If you do see him, he's quite impressive. A large, bulky male, he's pure white. He can't be mistaken for anyone. His pectoral fins curl upwards. Beyli's the last survivor of the 3 original Marineland belugas - Ben and Baffin died a few years ago.
