KosatkaKris has composed a music piece dedicated to Keiko. It is a slow track to honour Keiko, and the tune itself seems to reflect Keiko's life, from his beginnings and capture to his time as a free animal. The tune also has the familiar theme song from Free Willy included, which many people still remember Keiko from... Kris' words on the title and song are this: "I've decided to call the piece "Kosatka". It's the greenland inuit translation of the word orca, and I feel its kind of appropriate to name a piece that has such an organic feel to it and about a northern oceanic creature that it bear the name of the people that live off the land within the orca's natural environment. Also the mystical sound of the name supports the the ocenic elements of the piece, with 90% of the ocean still being a mystery below a few hundred feet. To me it "feels" appropriate."
