Jylia's Wild Boar Potpie

Ingredients:

5 pounds chopped wild boar
-
2 large onions, chopped
-
7 potatoes, cubed
-
7 teaspoons salt
-
2 teaspoons pepper
-
1 teaspoon each of the following:
-
allspice, cloves, thyme, sage, cinnamon

Directions:

Cover meat with water in large pot
-
add all spices and simmer gently for approximately 3 hours or until meat
looks "juicy".

Add cubed potatoes and cook 1 more hour.

Remove from heat and chill (don't freeze) overnight.
The next day, skim fat off top, and fill pie crusts with mixture. Heat
& Serve. Makes 7 pies.
