Paladyr
and Lyrahe
[A Bright Meadow]
Towering trees surround a large patch of green grass dusted with colorful
wild flowers. Over the treetops, snow-covered peaks are outlined against
the clear sky. Four poles wrapped with silk ribbons surround an altar of
carved wood from which delicate garlands of flowering vines hang down to
the ground.
The altar is made from a great tree stump. On the flat surface can
be seen the hundreds of rings that prove the age of this ancient tree. The
base is carved with a delicate leaf pattern and is encrusted with sparkling
emeralds.
