Wedding bells ring out, calling across
the night sky. Beneath their din, a crier can be heard shouting, "Hear ye,
hear ye! The good Lord Knoltor and Lady Sidraa are to be wed in a few moments
at the wedding glade. Please attend if you have been sent an
invitation!"
[A Bright Meadow]
Towering trees surround a large patch of
green grass dusted with colorful wild flowers. Over the treetops, snow-covered
peaks are outlined against the clear sky. Four poles wrapped with silk ribbons
surround an altar of carved wood from which delicate garlands of flowering
vines hang down to the ground.
The altar is made from a great tree stump.
On the flat surface can be seen the hundreds of rings that prove the age
of this ancient tree. The base is carved with a delicate leaf pattern and
is encrusted with sparkling emeralds.

long golden blond hair, green eyes, and fair skin. She is holding a
sweetly-scented cascading bouquet of pale pink cothinar flowers and rosebuds
accented with deep-green acantha leaves and trailing soft pink silk ribbons
in her right hand. She is wearing a braided silver circlet of fragrant pale
pink cothinar flowers and deep-green acantha leaves woven with soft pink
silk ribbon, an elegant pale pink silk cotehardie with a snug fitting buttoned
bodice which flows to a full trailing skirt and set with tippeted slim sleeves
which are banded along the hems with intricately embroidered cothinar flowers
and acantha leaves, and some romantic ankle-tied sandals beaded with pink
coral and malachite bugle beads.
The Ceremony Begins
As Sidraa walks gracefully to meet Knoltor
at the altar, delicate tiny rose petals flutter down her silk gown of palest
pink, falling gently to the ground.

ceremony is about to begin!

"This lovely moonlit winter's eve we come
to witness and celebrate the wedding of Lady Sidraa to Lord Knoltor."
Tamorson leans on Shayann propping his
chin on her shoulder.
Chisandra grins.
An accomplished elven harpist begins to
softly play an ethereal melody. You see the quartet consisting of a harp,
viol, pipes and lute dressed in silvery silk robes trimmed in soft white
fur. Slowly the lute joins in with the celestial sound of the harp as it
gently resonates its mid-winter hymn through the forest.
Songie smiles at Sidraa and Knoltor as
she removes an antique silver prayerbook from in her silver samite cape &
opens it.
Songie recites:
"This eve, we will bear witness to the
joining of Sidraa and Knoltor as wife and husband."
"May the gods also bear witness to this
joining and bless it. Marriage is a union of two hearts, two souls.
Tis in the joining, two circles of life become one."
Songie turns toward the altar then closes
her eyes, bows her head in a silent prayer, quietly says some ancient words
of magic then gestures toward the alter. A brilliant light suddenly encircles
those assembled and fills then with a sense of peace and joy.
Songie turns toward the bride and groom
and smiles softly toward Knoltor & Sidraa & embraces with a warm
hug.
Songie then looks out over the guests.
Sidraa smiles at Songie.
Songie recites:
"Who giveth this woman to be wed to her
lord?"
Medandy & Brekie exclaims, "We
do!"
Sidraa leans toward her groom and seems
to whisper something in his ear.
Knoltor smiles at Sidraa.
Knoltor looks into his bride to be's eyes,
winking playfully at her, he grabs her hand and brings it to his lips kissing
her fingers softly.
Brekie walks around Sidraa and
Knoltor.
Brekie recites:
"Upon thee I wish the blessing of many
happy days ahead."
Medandy walks around Sidraa and
Knoltor
Medandy recites:
"I wish thee the blessing of good fortune
all thy days"
Songie again looks at the assembly of friends
and family.

Stormyrain steps forward from the crowd
and bows respectfully to the couple. She raises her mandolin to playing position,
her violet eyes sparkling in the moonlight.
Stormyrain begins playing a quiet song
on her mandolin.
Stormyrain begins to hum a soft harmony
with the mandolin, her voice growing stronger as she goes.
Sidraa smiles at Knoltor.
Stormyrain sings:
"As the ocean is tae the shore
Let our souls be bound fer'er more
Like the stars in the night sky
The light o'our love will ne'er die."
Hawkfly sways to the delightful
sounds.
Knoltor smiles at Sidraa.
Stormyrain continues her soft music, providing
pleasant background for the goings-on around her.
With a decrease in tempo, Stormyrain gives
her soft melody the aspect of a soothing lullabye that makes forgetting the
day's cares as easy as closing your eyes.
Stormyrain sings:
"People come an people go
From this moment on Ah need ye tae
know
Without ye smile an warm embrace
My world would be a lonely place."
Stormyrain continues playing her
mandolin.
Stormyrain sings:

Paying complete attention to the mandolin's
strings, Stormyrain begins building an intense melody.
Sidraa smiles at Stormyrain.

Where all is as it should be
An yer love is there tae comfort me."
Sidraa gazes fondly at Knoltor.
Stormyrain smiles at the couple.

Knoltor gazes fondly at Sidraa.

she gazing back with a smile on her lips and unshed tears in her eyes.
Stormyrain again begins to hum as she takes
the melody through a small change, her voice clear and sweet.
Stormyrain continues playing her
mandolin.
Using fancy fingering, Stormyrain embellishes
heavily on a simple theme.
Stormyrain sings:

in her ear.
Jenissaelle snuggles up to Zentix and cradles

Stormyrain slows her playing and hums along
with the music, until her voice trails off leaving only silence.
With a final slow chord, Stormyrain allows
the notes to hang in the air for a time before their final demise into
silence.
Stormyrain bows once again to the couple,
then quietly steps back into the crowd.

beautiful song"
