[A Bright Meadow]

Towering trees surround a large patch of green grass dusted with colorful wild flowers. Over the treetops, snow-covered peaks are outlined against the clear sky. Four poles wrapped with silk ribbons surround an altar of carved wood from which delicate garlands of flowering vines hang down to the ground. You also see an earth guardian, a water guardian, a fire guardian, an air guardian, a slender black candle, a slender black candle, a snowy white candle and some dusky sandalwood incense.

He is wearing a soft black robe that seems to shimmer in the light and is
draped with thornless living rose vines twined to create the holy symbol of Oleani the Goddess of Love, a sunstone
engagement band, a gold-clasped white velvet cloak, and a silvery Oleani medallion.

The Groom:

Lord Marikoth Yathaghera the Dark Elf.
He appears to be in his 50's, has short, braided silver hair, multihued eyes, and very dark skin.
He is holding a weathered wanderer's staff in his right hand.
He is wearing a sapphire engagement band, a sapphire and silver belt buckle,
a leather pouch, a soft black and silver tartan kilt, a shimmering elven wizard's cape, a pair of black elven
leather boots, an elven wizard's sash, a soft black and silver tartan draped carefully over the left shoulder and
held in place by an elven dragon clasp, a soft white sark made from the finest cotton with the rune of the Faendryl
embroidered on the right side, and a pair of sleek casting gloves.

Father of the Bride:

Lord Nightskyre Regat the Dark Elf Sorcerer.
He appears to be in his 50's, has shoulder length, wavy red hair, green eyes, and tanned skin.
He has a soaring black dragon tattoo on his arm.
He is holding a long hand-woven cord braided from the finest black and grey
spidersilk dusted lightly with ground silver and powdered white sapphires in his right hand and a flute of sparkling
champagne in his left hand. He is wearing a rune-stamped black leather satchel, a jet black glaes spider
charm, a veniom-plated Ilyan Cloud charm, some sleek black leather boots, an ora-studded golden imflass
thigh-sheath, a glistening sea-blue buckler, a black ankle-strapped sheath, a silver belt buckle, a tiny fragrant pine stickpin,
a silver-tooled dwarven wand sash, a glass amulet, a dice pouch, a ribboned silver medallion, a tightly woven

The Bride:

Lady Dyahana RazorWolff the Half-Elf.
She appears to be in her 40's, has shoulder length, wavy golden blond hair, blue eyes, and fair skin.
She is holding a long silver dragon staff in her right hand.
She is wearing some grey thigh-laced sandals, a leather purse, a laced silver
sapphire anklet, an ankle-length peasant skirt, a soft white cotton peasant blouse worn just off the shoulders
with billowing sleeves gathered artistically at the wrists to fold lightly over the hands, a laced silver
sapphire pendant, a silver charm bracelet, an elegant grey wool tartan adorned with silvery bardic symbols draped carefully
over the left shoulder and held in place over the breast by an elven silver dragon clasp, a long swirling grey
cloak, and a laced silver sapphire tiara.

The Ceremony

Some dusky incense emits a tendril of sandalwood-scented smoke, which forms a lacy pattern in the air before fading away.

Marthanis recites:

"Let none enter into this Sacred Circle
Save those who may enter into the presence
Of the God and Goddess
Bearing no wish for harm
And of free will
May the will of the Divine be done this night
As the Goddess so bids, we say these words:"

Marthanis says, "Please repeat these next words with me in your hearts"

Soft wisps of scented smoke waft from the sandalwood incense.

Marthanis recites:

"I will love, and harm none
I will live, love, die, and live again
I will meet, remember, know
And embrace once more
For the free will of All
And with harm to none

It is done now."

Marthanis says, "SO NOTE IT BE"

Some dusky smoke wafts up from the sandalwood incense, sending tendrils of fragrance throughout the room.

Balinworn smiles wistfully

Beryl laces her fingers through Faegil's and squeezes hard.

Marikoth nods to Piriotessa.

Beryl smiles at Marikoth.

Marthanis recites:

"Today they come to share that Commitment
Before those assembled

Dyahana just left.

Marthanis smiles softly

Hawkerdr slaps himself on the forehead.

Marikoth frowns.

Maxsen's face turns slightly pale.

Chryslyx rubs Marikoth gently.

Luttiano rubs Marikoth gently.

Faegil gazes in wonder at his surroundings.

Marthanis says, "The Goddess wishes a few private words with her is all"

Dyahana just arrived.

The guardians all look at one another & smile knowingly at Dyahana's return.

Idoncar says, "Portal snap."

Rhaindrop says, "memories"

Luttiano nods to Marthanis.

Eramon applauds.

Piriotessa rubs Dyahana gently.

Rhaindrop hiccups!

Marthanis smiles softly

Hawkerdr just tried to pull Dyahana towards him!

Beryl just hugged Dyahana.

Nightskyre pushes Dyahana towards Marikoth.

Marthanis smiles at Marikoth.

Marthanis walks clockwise around the circle, stopping at the North Quater, in front of Marikoth.

Luttiano smiles softly

Some dusky smoke rises from the sandalwood incense and dissipates into the air.

Nightskyre glances at Hawkerdr.

Nightskyre grins.

Marthanis asks, "Who seeks to enter this Sacred Circle ?"

Marikoth says, "I do."

Marthanis asks, "For what purpose do you seek to enter ?"

Marthanis smiles gently at Marikoth

Marikoth recites:

"Ma tha ise de nach

Marikoth recites:

"-If she is willing
I am very willing
and if that weren't so
then this wouldn't be so"

Marthanis smiles softly

Marthanis recites:

"Do you seek to enter this union as you enter the Circle
In perfect love and perfect trust
Ever seeking the free will of the other
And without harm ?"

Marikoth says, "I do."

Marthanis says, "Then enter this circle and this union with perfect love and perfect trust in your heart."

Marthanis accepts Marikoth into the circle with a hug, and turning, walks to the South Quater where the Bride waits.

Luttiano smiles at Marikoth.

Marthanis stands before Dyahana.

Hawkerdr nods to Piriotessa.

Marthanis asks, "Who seeks to enter this Sacred Circle ?"

Dyahana says, "I do."

Marthanis asks, "For what purpose do you seek to enter ?"

Dyahana recites:

"Ma tha ise de nach,
Tha mise ro-dhe nach,
Agus mura bi sin mar sin,
Cha bhi seo mar seo-
If he is willing,
I am very willing,
And if that weren't so,
Then this wouldn't be so"

Marthanis smiles at Dyahana.

Marthanis recites:

"Do you seek to enter this union as you enter the Circle
In perfect love and perfect trust
Ever seeking the free will of the other
And without harm ?"

Dyahana recites:

"I do."

Marthanis accepts Dyahana & Marikoth into the circle with a hug, and walks about, facing them both.

Marikoth kneels down.

Marthanis recites:

"In the Sacred circle of light
We gather in perfect love
And perfect trust"

Marthanis gazes up into the heavens.

Marthanis recites:

"O Goddess of divine love
I ask thee to bless this couple
Their love, and their marriage
For as long as they shall live
In love together
May they each enjoy a healthy life
Filled with joy, love, stability and fertility"

Alex just arrived.

Balinworn tilts his head back.

Dyahana tenderly hold Marikoth's hand as they approach and kneel before the altar.

Dyahana blushes a nice shade of off-pink.

Marikoth & Dyahana each light a slender black candle, which flickers and begins to burn.

Alex sits down.

Dyahana kneels down.

Marthanis smiles softly

A light breeze tingles the back of your neck. You notice a single pinecone fall off one of the tall fir's and bounces off of Jubul's head.

A slender black candle burns with a warm golden light.

Piriotessa gazes up into the heavens.

Jubuls gazes up into the heavens.

Marthanis takes his staff, and walks to the bride and groom, circling the air abouve them slowly.

Marthanis recites:

"By the powers of the Goddess and God
I hereby sweep away all your past hurts
Let all the bad experiences which have in the past troubled you
In love or made it difficult to trust be swept away
Release the past and go forward onto a bright future together"

Marthanis says, "Till now, you have been as these candles, each shinning your light...but two beings..Light now this third candle..This is how you are now...once seperate, now bound together in love and commitment."

Marikoth lights the snowy white candle, which flickers and begins to burn.

Marthanis smiles at Marikoth and Dyahana.

Marthanis put a vine-covered oak staff in his white velvet cloak.

Marthanis removes a small silver box from in his white velvet cloak.

Marthanis just opened a small silver box.

Marthanis removes an elven bonding armband from in his silver box.

Marthanis put a small silver box in his white velvet cloak.

Marthanis smiles at Marikoth.

Marthanis holds the armbands in front of him.

Which like the cirle, has no beginning and no end"

Marthanis offers Dyahana an elven bonding armband.

Beryl blinks back a tear as she is touched by the beauty of the ceremony.

Marikoth reaches out and holds it in the palm of his hand.

Faegil smiles softly at Beryl and pulls her close

Nightskyre rests his head softly on Tenderhands shoulder, at peace from the ceremony at hand.

Beryl smiles lovingly at Faegil and thinks soon her turn will come.

Faegil just touched Beryl.

Marthanis says, "Before ye speak your vows, I ask ye ta take a wee moment an pray to the Goddess"

Marthanis offers Dyahana an elven bonding armband.

Dyahana accepts the armband.

Marthanis kneels down.

Marikoth nods to Marthanis.

Balinworn smiles reverently

Marthanis continues to beseech the gods for mercy and guidance.

Lilliebelle places a hand over her heart.

Jubuls glances at an air guardian.

Jubuls shivers.

Beryl rubs Jubuls gently.

The guardian swirls around Jubuls.

Piriotessa chuckles.

Chryslyx grins.

Beryl snuggles closely into the protective circle of Faegil's arms.

Piriotessa sniffs.

Marikoth recites:

"I promise to love thee wholly and completely without
restraint, in sickness and in health in plenty and in poverty
in life and beyond, where we shall meet, remember, and love again."

Buckthorne leans to his left slightly.

Jurporia glances at an air guardian.

The water guardian floats over Jubuls soaking him in with a spray of water!

Piriotessa laughs!

Rhaindrop laughs!

Jubuls whines.

Jypsie cackles!

Dyahana just left.

Rhaindrop clears her throat.

Piriotessa exclaims, "eeps!"

Rhaindrop says, "awww"

Beryl says, "ohhh"

A pained expression crosses Rhangath's face.

Jubul's shakes himself off and mutter something you can't make out.

Shelayn winces.

Piriotessa says, "see what ya did ya scared off the bride"

Whamjuju clears his throat.

Jubuls glances at a water guardian.

Idoncar says, "Ders deh portal again..."

Piriotessa chuckles.

Rhaindrop mutters under her breath.

Piriotessa nods to Jypsie.

Marikoth recites:

"I shall not seek to change thee in any way.
I shall respect thee, thy beliefs, thy people, and thy ways as I respect
myself."

Jurporia glances at an earth guardian.

Eramon says, "Talk about a bashful bride"

Piriotessa says, "she is having it rough blasted portals tonight"

Piriotessa sighs.

Beryl says, "its the earth guardian..or the air guardian"

Beryl stares at an earth guardian.

Marikoth nods to Piriotessa.

Piriotessa rubs Marikoth gently.

Burbel echoes, "Dyahana chants in a melodic voice," "I, Dyahana, in the name of the spirit of the God that resides

within us all by the life that courses", "To desire thee and be desired by thee, to possess the and be possessed by

thee, without sin or shame", "For naught can exist in the purity of my love for thee."

Jypsie says, "Jubs dont stare at the fire guardian less ye want ye tart toasted"

Buckthorne gazes in amazement at an earth guardian.

Jubuls stares off into space.

Piriotessa just nudged Burbel.

Marikoth smiles at Burbel.

Marikoth just hugged Burbel.

Rhaindrop furrows her brow.

Burbel blushes a nice shade of off-pink.

Burbel pulls Dyahana to her feet.

Marthanis picks up the cord, and sprinkles a bit of salt over it

Dyahana sighs.

Marthanis takes the cord and passes it through the candle smoke.

Marthanis recites:

"May this union, be blessed by the Powers of the Air"

Marthanis takes the cord and passes it over the candles flames.

Marthanis recites:

"May this union be blessed, by the Powers of the Fire"

Marthanis takes the cord, and sprinkles a bit of water on it.

Marthanis recites:

"May this union be blessed, by the Powers of water"

Marthanis goes outside the circle and gets the brides father and brings him into the circle in front of the Bride and Groom.

Marthanis offers Nightskyre a long hand-woven cord braided from the finest black and grey spidersilk dusted lightly with ground silver and powdered white sapphires.

Nightskyre accepts Marthanis's hand-woven cord.

Nightskyre moves to stand at the front of the crowd

Nightskyre nods to Marthanis.

Balinworn leans to his left slightly.

Tenderhand just hugged Nightskyre.

Tenderhand stands up.

Nightskyre recites:

"It is my pleasure to bequeath this item symbolizing the bond between these two in love, to those two people"

Nightskyre recites:

"I am proud at this time to honor Marikoth as one of my own family now, as well"

A liveried servant rushes through the arch and returns just as quickly with Scarbarough in tow.

Marikoth smiles.

Nightskyre recites:

"May you ever be joined as one
Happy and together before all
You come to meet and know
And Before the Divine"

Nightskyre wraps the cord around the wrists of Dyahana and Marikoth, binding them together in love, honor, and life.

Marthanis escorts the brides father outside the circle, then returns and takes the bound hands of Dyahana and Marikoth, and leads them to the east.

Beryl beams!

Marthanis smiles at Marikoth and Dyahana.

Nightskyre says, "The Gods call me, but first..."

Nightskyre frowns.

Marthanis leads the bride and groom clockwise to the side of the altar facing North, then turns to face them.

Marikoth nods to Nightskyre.

Marikoth just hugged Nightskyre.

Nightskyre just hugged Dyahana.

Nightskyre just hugged Marikoth.

Marikoth stands up.

Nightskyre says, "Congratulations and farewell"

Nightskyre offers Burbel a long hand-woven cord braided from the finest black and grey spidersilk dusted lightly with ground silver and powdered white sapphires.

Marthanis recites:

"Thus have you entered your life together
Ever remember the lessons you have heard here
As well as the joy you jave now for each other
You have now made promises before each other
To one another
And before the Goddess and God
You are now one in their sight
Blessed be and may your union be lasting throughout this life
And those to follow."

Nightskyre just left.

Marthanis recites:

"This is but the beginning of your lives together
You have promised your love to one another
For the rest of your life before the Lord and the Lady
Yet we must meet again next year to renew these vows before them
And also before the legal establishments of this land
We shall see you then !
Until then, rejoice in your new life!"

Beryl beams!

Marthanis says, "Repeat after me."

Marthanis faces the bride.

Marthanis recites:

"Be seed and root, by bud and stem, by flower and fruit
By live and love in the name of the Goddess, I,..Dyahana, Do
Come here of my own free will to seek the partnership of
Marikoth. I come with love, honor and sincerity wishing only
To become one with him who I love. his life I will defend
Before my own, and never will we let death do us part for in
The fullness of the life's cycle, we shall be born afain in
The same time, we shall meet, and rememberm and fall in love
Once again. All this I sw"

Dyahana says, "By seed and root, by bud and stem, by flower and fruit, by life and love in the name of the Goddess, I,..Dyahana..., do come here of my own free will to seek the partnership of Marikoth. I come with love, honor and sincerity wishing only to become one with him whom I love. His life I will defend before my own, and never will we let death do us part for in the fulness of of the life's cycle we shall be born again in the same time, we shall meet, and remember, and fall in love once again. All this I swear in the names of the Gods. May they give me the strength I need to keep these vows. So Mote it Be"

Marthanis recites:

"As the grass and the trees bend together under the pressure
Of the storms, both of you must bend when the winds blow strong.
But remember, as quickly as the storm comes, it can
Aslo leave. You both will stay strong in the strength of
Each other, as you give love, you will recieve love. As
You give strength you will then recieve strength. Together

Jubuls scoots over in front of Rhaindrop.

Marthanis recites:

"Ever love, respect and help each other, for only then

Of the Gods of Liabo"

Marthanis smiles at Marikoth.

Marthanis smiles at Dyahana.

Dyahana smiles at Marthanis.

Marthanis exclaims, "By the grace of my Goddess, I delcare ye wed !"

Marikoth smiles at Marthanis.

Marikoth just hugged Marthanis.

Piriotessa applauds.

Luttiano beams!

Marikoth says, "I love you Dyahana"

Dyahana says, "And I ye Marikoth."

Dyahana just kissed Marikoth on the lips.

Garredd exclaims, "Blessed be the wedded couple!"

Chryslyx smiles.

Jurporia removes a slender aromatic cigar from in his black sack.

Beryl says, "lovely ceremony Dyahana"

Marikoth says, "thank ye all"

Jubuls says, "congrats ya two sillies"

Piriotessa exclaims, "just wonderful and wonderful job Marth!"

Faegil says, "ahh, extremely nice"

Piriotessa just hugged Marthanis.

Scarbarough exclaims, "Congrats to both of you!"

Jubuls and Marikoth shake hands.

Buckthorne and Marikoth shake hands.

Balinworn stands up.

Marikoth recites:

"Blessed be to all that attended and thank you for stickin through with us"

Luttiano says, "may your marriage be a blessed union.."
