Leiamy & Badd

[A Bright Meadow]
Towering trees surround a large patch of green grass dusted with colorful wild flowers.  Over the treetops, snow-covered peaks are outlined against the clear sky.  Four poles wrapped with silk ribbons surround an altar of carved wood from which delicate garlands of flowering vines hang down to the ground.  You also see a single snow white rose and a maoral-handled haon hoe.

GROOM
Badd Knews the Dark Elf.
He appears to be in his 150's, has very long white hair, dark eyes, and very dark skin.
He is wearing a dark blue emerald eye, a radiant blue crystal ball that looks like a netting of thunderbolts incased in a deep blue fog suspended by a tiny krodera-linked chain, a serpentine trimmed black robe, and a veniom-banded maoral pyx.

BRIDE
Leiamy Lmore the Dark Elf Healer.
She appears to be in her 110's, has very long golden blond hair, violet eyes, and lily white skin. She is wearing an alluring black satin gown laced up the back with slender strands of darkened silk and fastened at the wrists with delicate veniom clasps, a delicate antique ivory comb that clasps several waves of silky hair into a dainty bun, a thin black velvet choker, some silver-heeled shoes, a ruby navel ring, and a low-cut black leather bodice.

With gentle grace and a light spring in her step, Shoshonna moves down the aisle to stand before the altar.
Leiamy hesitates at the threshold of the aisle for but a moment, blushing and beautiful, before slowly moving towards the altar in a whisper of silk

The guests gaze in awe at the beautiful Bride.
An announcer calls out in a deep baritone, "Please be seated and hushed for the ceremony!"

The guests settle down and sit in their seats.
Vivaldi smiles warmly to the gathered folk, then to the couple standing before him.

Hoe in hand, Vivaldi faces the northern point of the circle. Turning to each direction, he raises the hoe high into the air

Vivaldi recites:     "Once for the earth, "
Vivaldi recites:     "Twice for the sky,"
Vivaldi recites:     "Thrice for the heavens, "
Vivaldi recites:     "Who watches from on high. "
Vivaldi says, "I humbly ask the attendance of the Elementals of sky and of earth. "

Vivaldi gazes up into the heavens.
Vivaldi gazes in wonder at his surroundings.

A young elven gent rises from the gathered congregation and steps to the eastern point of the circle. Raising the pitcher of water he holds high above him he slowly pours the contents upon the ground

Vivaldi says, "For without those, there is no life. "
Vivaldi says, "Granting life to everything above and below, let us gather here in for the hitching."
Vivaldi winks.

The elven gent nods to Vivaldi.
The elven gent calls out to the east, "Welcome, O'powers of Water! Bless this couple with a love as deep as any ocean! Nourish them, as your rains bring life to the earth. May richness of body, of soul and of spirit be theirs ever more!" Turning, he bows to the couple and retires

A lithe sylvan girl rises from her seat, a small red votive in her hand, and crosses to the southern point of the circle. Lighting the candle she raises it above her and slowly pours the wax upon the ground.

A lithe sylvan girl nods to Vivaldi.

(missing data of the sylvan girl welcoming the powers of fire)

The timid halfling nods to Vivaldi.
A timid halfling calls out to the west, "Welcome, O'powers of Air! With clever fingers weave tightly the bonds of Heart, Spirit and Love between these two!"

Making her way back to her seat, the timid halfling trips and stumbles before righting herself.
The timid halfling mutters and sits.

A short dwarven male rises from his seat, an enormous bowl of soil balanced on his arms, and saunters to the northern point of the circle. He slowly raises the bowl in front of him before turning it over to pour the earth out.

The short dwarven male nods to Vivaldi
A short dwarven male calls out to the north, "Welcome, O'powers of Earth! Bless this man, this woman with thy strength to take root, to create a love, like the mightest rock, unbreakable!" Turning to the couple, he bows and retires

The glow of the moon lights the glade, gilding the bride and groom with its silvery light.

Vivaldi gazes in wonder at his surroundings.
Vivaldi recites:     "Gracious Goddess, Serpant God, "
Vivaldi recites:     "Grant this blessed pair thy love and protection"
Vivaldi recites:     "And, of course a fruitful harvest."
Vivaldi says, "Who comes forth at this time to petition this Farmer? "

Vivaldi rests his arm on the handle of his haon hoe and leans heavily on it.

The timid halfling rises and announces, "I do!"

The guests burst out in a fit of laughter.

Vivaldi waves his hand in a dismissive gesture.
Vivaldi exclaims, "Next?!"

Shoshonna says, "We all do"

The timid halfling wiggles her nose and sits down in a huff.
The timid halfling stands up once again and flares at Vivaldi.
The timid halfing appears beside Leiamy and, leading her into the circle to stand before Vivaldi, states "This Lady."

The chirping of crickets sounds through the forest, carried on the heavy night air.

The lithe sylvan girl appears beside Badd and, leading him into the circle to stand before Badd, states "This Lord."

Vivaldi asks, "And their reason for taking my time this fine evening?"

Badd says, "For the beauty of love."

Vivaldi nods.
Vivaldi says, "Good answer."

The lithe sylvan gives Vivaldi a wink before retiring.
The timid halfling glares at Vivaldi and reseats herself.

Vivaldi says, "Otherwise.. I'd have you all till some fields."
Vivaldi nods

A cloud moves across the sky, obscuring the moon for a moment and casting the clearing into darkness.  As the winds blow the clouds away the light again illuminates the glade in silver splendor.

Vivaldi moves to stand before the altar and takes up Badd's right hand and Leiamy's left.
Joining the couple's hands together, Vivaldi gently turns them to face one another

Vivaldi smiles at Leiamy
Leiamy turns to face Badd
Vivaldi smiles warily at Badd.
Badd bows.
Badd turns to face Leiamy.

Vivaldi says, "We gather here this night in a ritual of love. "

Vivaldi says, "You, Leiamy and Thee, Badd stand here before your friends, the elements, and the farmer to join together as the beginning of a family. "
Vivaldi nods to Leiamy then to Badd.

A mischievous breeze catches the ends of the silken ribbons wrapped

Vivaldi says, "For before there can be two, there must be three and.. luckily I get to be the third."
Leiamy smiles at Vivaldi.

Vivaldi produces a silver-stitched crimson cloth and raises it to the heaves in prayer.

As the cloth is wrapped firmly around Leiamy and Badd's wrists, it glints in the moonlight, momentarily gilded in a brilliant crimson touched silver as it catches the light of Tlilok and Liabo.

A gentle breeze blows through the trees, bringing several fallen leaves to swirl through the clearing before settling, nestled in front of the altar in a soft bed.

Vivaldi asks, "And what do you offer to Leiamy for her love, Badd?"

Badd recites:     "I present to her my love and my pledge.
May I never knowingly or willingly do such a thing to harm, nor grieve her in any form or fashion. Accept this my blade, as a token of my trust. Like its blade, may my love be as strong. Like its metal may our love be as enduring. Accept it my love, for that which is mine is yours."

Leiamy recites:     "My Love, I accept your pledge, and your love, as I accept thy blade. Know what is in my heart, as I know what is in thine. The magic of my will, of my love, shall ever be thine. "

Countless fireflies dance about, glittering like golden stars against the moonlit sky.

Vivaldi says, "Well.. I suppose that'll work in this case  though you should have offered her a turnip or some seeds..."

Vivaldi says, "and what do you offer in return for the love of this man? "
Vivaldi peers quizzically at Leiamy.
Vivaldi glances at Badd.

Leiamy recites:     "I present to him my love and this pledge. May I never knowingly or willingly do such a thing to harm, nor greive, him in any form or fashion. Accept this, my jewel, my treasure, as a token of my trust. Just as its bright gleam, may our love glow. Like the stone that it is its essence, may our love be as enduring. Accept it my love, for that which is mine is yours. "

Badd recites:     "My Love, I accept your pledge and your love, as I accept thy jewel.
Know what is in my heart, as I know what is in thine. The magic of my will, of my love, shall ever be thine. "

Somewhere in the distance the gentle song of a lark is heard, dancing upon the breeze and serenading the loving couple.

Leiamy and Badd gaze at each other for but a moment before turning, upon silent command, to face Vivaldi

Vivaldi says, "Raise your right hands to each other, so that in front of all, you might mingle some of the lifeblood that is your own."

Taking the dagger from the altar, Vivaldi glances from Leiamy to Badd.
He reaches for Badd's hand first and with a deft flick of his wrist, slices the palm wide.

Turning to Leiamy, he gently takes up her hand and slices through her palm.
Leiamy slowly empties her lungs.

Vivaldi turns sharply to the crowd.

Vivaldi says, "Folks."

Vivaldi says, "If you don't calm down abit... there might not be a farmer here to finish this wedding.."
Lissa blinks.

Vivaldi says, "And none of those need that to happen."

From deep in the trees the wild howl of a wolf is answered by the call of a lion.

Badd recites:

"I, Badd Knews, love thee Leiamy Lmore."
"I pledge to grow in our love. To nurture our love for it is loving you that nurtures my soul."
"To know you is to know love and through you, I know true love." >Galadriell smiles at Badd.
"Without love I am incomplete. You are the one who completes me."
"I promise to love, honor, and cherish you forever.

Above all, I promise to be true to you and true to myself."

Leiamy softly kisses Badds Hand

Leiamy recites:

"As our life forces run together and we become one in spirit
I give my heart to you.
For you , alone possess all the love I have to offer."

"I give you my trust
      my devotion
      my loyalty
      the essence of my spirit
      ... my life."

"You honor me by taking me as your wife
With every day that passes I promise to
      Share your burdens
     Rejoice your victories
     Admire your strength
compliment your life as a steadfast Partner."

"I love you
      my Lord
      my friend
      my Husband
      for all time..."

The fresh scents of heather and lilac drift upon the breeze, soothing you.

The timid halfling sniffs loudly, wiping her nose on the sleeve of her tunic

Vivaldi says, "May the Lord and Lady smile upon this union, and bless this couple with health and prosperity."
Vivaldi exclaims, "May neither take advantage of the other...For remember what one may not provide, the other may!"
Vivaldi says, "And I expect both of you to provide me with ample amounts of turnip seeds later on... and a plow."

Off to the side of the glade a young fawn stands entranced for but a moment before a nearby sound sends her fleeing into the woods

Vivaldi says, "Your Vows have now been heard by all. "
Vivaldi says, "Unless they've been talking and moving about."
Vivaldi removes two platinum wedding bands from in his farmer's satchel
Vivaldi says, "These bands, like your vows, are without beginning or end. "

Vivaldi gives Badd one wedding band and Leiamy the other, firmly planting the bands in their palms.

Jael coughs quietly, spewing a small stream of multi-colored confetti out of his mouth.
The dwarf grabs Jael and starts pounding him on the bank, delighted with each mouthful of confetti he spews!
The timid halfling climbs up on Jael's lap and pokes around in his mouth, removing handfuls of confetti before bouncing back into her chair.

Badd places the wedding band on Leiamy's finger.
Leiamy's ring suddenly glows with a soft crimson light.

Leiamy takes Badds hand in hers and slides a wedding band on his finger while gazing into his eyes.
Badd's ring suddenly glows with a silvery light

Vivaldi says, "Now placed, they represent a seal of your love and respect for each other."

Leiamy whispers softly to Badd, " I love you."

Vivaldi offers Leiamy a dreamstone studded silver goblet. Leiamy accepts.
Leiamy takes a drink from her studded silver goblet
Leiamy offers Badd a dreamstone studded silver goblet. Badd accepts.
Badd takes a drink from his studded silver goblet
Badd put a dreamstone studded silver goblet on a carved wood altar.

Vivaldi says, "This is your first drink together as man and wife. May you never thirst."

Vivaldi removes a large fresh turnip from in his homespun bag.
Vivaldi starts chortling.
Vivaldi offers Leiamy a large fresh turnip. Leiamy accepts.

Heathyranne exclaims, "Leiamy no! ye nae know where that's been!"
Matti says, "dats birth control"

The guests laugh with Matti.
Iannerra laughs!
Shoshonna laughs!
Lavinnia begins chuckling at Matti.

Lavinnia says, "She needs it."
Kadesha says, "its too late in that case, Matti"

Leiamy takes a bite of her fresh turnip then offers it to Badd. Badd accepts.
Badd takes a bite of his fresh turnip.
Badd put a large fresh turnip on a carved wood altar.

A mischievous breeze catches the ends of the silken ribbons wrapped around the poles bracketing the altar, making them dance for a moment.

Vivaldi says, "This is your first food together as man and wife. May you never hunger."
Vivaldi says, "This will be your first act of working together as Husband and Wife."

You notice a maoral-handled haon hoe

Still bound together, the couple gazes lovingly at one another before jumping over the hoe to land safely on the other side, as husband and wife.
In a flutter of crimson and silver, the binding is torn from the couple's hands to fall to the ground

Vivaldi exclaims, "I present to you Lord Badd Knews and his wife, Lady Leiamy L. Knews!"

Angellisa throws a handful of confetti up into the air, and it floats down in a cloud around Leiamy!
Rilven throws a handful of confetti up into the air, and it floats down in a cloud around Badd!
Jadall throws a handful of faerie-dust up into the air, and it rains down upon Leiamy!

Vivaldi says, "We thank the elementals of life for their attendance this night and ask they go forth and herald this union."

Badd clasps Leiamy's hand tenderly.

Vivaldi exclaims, "May the be blessed with a fruitful and good harvest err.. marriage!"

The four callers rise from their place amongst the guests and move to their places in the circle.
Hands held aloft they call out in unison, "Thank thee for thy blessing! Sally forth and announce to all this union!"

Vivaldi reaches into a pouch and removes a handful of dust. Turning to the couple he tosses the dust high into the air above them
Slowly the dust floats down to pepper the couple before coming to rest upon the ground

Hoe in hand, Vivaldi faces the northern point of the circle. Turning to each direction, he raises the hoe high into the air.

Vivaldi recites:

"Three times round,
      Once for the earth,
      Twice for the sky,
      Thrice for the heavens,
      who watches from on high."

Leiamy hugs you each and thanks you for sharing in this special occassion
Badd says, "Thank you all for attending"

The timid halfling stands up, looks around at everyone's legs and mutters.

Badd and Leiamy embrace in a passionate kiss.

Marisol recites:

"The Wonderful Minstre
      The Lady Dessedemona
Would like to play a piece for the wedding couple."

Dessedemona sings:

"We circle round touching constantly
Dancing near almost in my reach
All I've hoped all I've dared to dream
Is this love all that it seems"

Dessedemona sings:

"You come to me in circles of light
Free my soul teach me how to fly
     Fly high across the sky
     Circling in dizzying height"

Dessedemona sings:

"And when we think that all is said and done
We circle round again we've just begun
Round and round time and again
     Circling no beginning no end"

Dessedemona sings:     "You give I take I give you recieve
Loving here held in your sweet peace
This love it has no reason no rhyme
     Timeless time after time"

Dessedemona sings:     "I give you love it circles back to me
In your heart my heart is held so free
     Fly high through the night
     Circling together we fly"

Dessedemona sings:

"And when we think that all is said and done
We circle round again we've just begun
Round and round time and again
     Circling no beginning no end"

Dessedemona sings:

"Circling time and again
     Circling no beginning no end"

The guests applaud the Bardess.

You recite:

"Ah'd like tah propose ah toast tah tha newly weds..
ah've known Badd fer practically ever, and Leiamy fer a bit less than tha.
Thay are two uv mah best friends.."
