You are holding a bouquet of miniature white roses
and freshly-picked ivy interwoven with leaves of silver and gold in your
left hand.You are wearing a sheer white silk veil attached to a circlet of
cascading rosebuds woven with strands of golden silk, a pure white satin
pouch embroidered with a lace-trimmed heart in silver and gold thread, some
white silk slippers, a flowing white silk gown with a low neckline and fitted
bodice adorned with tiny silver flowers cascading down to the full lace train,
a sunstone engagement ring, a diamond pendant and a pair of pearl
earrings. |
Subothai rubs you gently.
You say, "i'm ready"
You sigh.
Miriani smiles at you.
Subothai says, "okee here we go.."

[Wedding Glade]

You are in a large glade, ringed by tall and majestic
oaks. At its farther end, two of these venerable trees stand entwined as
a living symbol of two souls bonded in matrimony. With the setting of the
sun, the oaks almost look like lovers hugging, renewing their special bond.
A small rosewood altar is set before the large oak trees, and an arch of
modwir pine and spruce boughs leads to a shady path.

Nemeisis clears her throat then smiles as she gets
out her well worn white prayer book
Twoflame blushes slightly as she walks down the aisle
gripping Subothai's arm tightly.
Subothai smiles and walks slowly towards the altar,
hand in hand with Twoflame.
Nemeisis asks, "Do you give Twoflame into the keeping of Amgard from
this day forward?"
Amgard is admiring you.
Subothai says, "I, Subothai
Arcanian, do offer Twoflame's hand unto Amgard's hand this day.."
Amgard gazes fondly at you.
Danelo leans on Amgard.
The fire returns to Amgard's eyes.
Nemeisis smiles at Subothai.
You kiss Subothai on the cheek.
Subothai smiles
and gently places Twoflame's hand into Amgard's hand and takes a step back.
Amgard clasps your hand tenderly.
Nemeisis glances up and looks around.
Twoflame turns toward Amgard and
curls her fingers tightly around his.
You Lovingly gaze at your Husband to be....
Lord Amgard Woodsong the Human Ranger.
He appears to be in his 50's, has shoulder length,
curly dark brown hair, hazel eyes, and tanned skin. He is in good shape.
He is wearing a braided silver and onyx wedding band with intertwining emerald
oak leaf inlays, a flowing black silk cloak with a silver-trimmed collar
and onyx buttons, a miniature white rose boutonniere pinned to leaves of
silver and gold, some knee-high black leather riding boots, a pair of soft
leather trousers, a gold and black striped pouch with an emerald clasp, a
silver silk shirt with teardrop-shaped onyx buttons, and a jet black
earring.
Nemeisis says, "If there are any
here who would object to this marriage, please speak now or forever hold
your peace"
Nemeisis says,
"May I introduce Lord Aallaan who will sing a song for Twoflame and
Amgard"
Nemeisis smiles at Aallaan.
You smile at Aallaan.
Aallaan stands up, moves to the altar and clears his
throat.
Aallaan sings:
"If they only have love
Then tomorrow will dawn
And the days of their years
Will rise on that morn"
Aallaan sings:

To embrace without fears
They will kiss with their eyes
They will sleep without tears"
Aallaan sings:

Everyone laughs.

Aallaan sits down.
You kiss Aallaan.
Amgard just hugged Aallaan.
You say, "it was beautiful"
You hug Aallaan.
Nemeisis smiles at Twoflame and Amgard.
Nemeisis asks, "are you ready to take your vows?"
Amgard nods.
Nemeisis asks, "Do you Twoflame promise to love and to honor Amgard for richer
or poorer, in sickness and in health, for better or for worse, and be true
only unto him, until the final death do you part?"
You say, "I do"
Nemeisis smiles at you.
Nemeisis asks, "Do you have any vows to add?"
You say, "yes"
Twoflame looks at Amgard....her
eyes shining with unshed tears of love.
Twoflame recites:
"Am, I give myself
to you this night. I give you my hands to help you....
my eyes to watch with you the road ahead of
us....."
Twoflame smiles softly at Amgard.
Twoflame recites:
"I give you my body to hold against you
to comfort your hurt and to share your joy..."
Twoflame recites:
"My heart, my love...is the one thing that is not mine
to give...
you took it so very long ago...and i willingly
let it go to your safekeeping
Twoflame recites:
"You loved me without knowing it.
We're held each other when we were tired or unhappy.
We've shared each other's happiness.
You've frowned your disapproval and laughed at my
temper."
Twoflame recites:
"And i stand with you tonight
because you, too, have loved me unconditionally."
Amgard smiles at you.
Twoflame recites:
"The vow that i make to you is
the most simple one I can give you....I love you."
Twoflame smiles as she
lightly touches Amgard's cheek, wraps a dark curl around her finger and drops
her eyes as a single tear slides down her cheek.
Amgard gazes fondly at you.
Nemeisis smiles.
You smile at Amgard.
Nemeisis asks, "Do you
Amgard promise to love and to honor Twoflame, for richer and for poorer,
in sickness and in health, for better or for worse, and be true only
unto her, until the final death do you part?"
Two magnificent brown hawks glide easily
through the air overhead. A single brown feather spirals down from above,
and lands at your feet. The hawks soar in ever-increasing circles until they
are soon lost from sight.
Amgard says, "yes i do"
Nemeisis smiles at Amgard.
You take a deep breath, and look around with renewed
vigor.
It is good to be alive, and an adventurer in this
land.
Nemeisis asks, "Do you have any vows to add?"
Amgard nods.
Amgard clears his throat.
Amgard recites:
"Men count their
blessings in many ways Some place worth in possessions and wealth
Many point to all their
friends Still others strive for title and rank..."

The emeralds on the rings glimmer in the sunlight.

You hear a flute weaving a melody
that seems to be carried on the wind from someplace nearby. The music makes
you feel refreshed somehow.
Nemeisis just touched a silver Lorminstra symbol.
Nemesis recites:
"By the office
I hold through my Lady Lorminstra , before these people and all of Elanthia.
I now pronounce you husband and wife."
Nemeisis smiles at Amgard.
Nemeisis says, "You may kiss your bride"
Amgard kisses you deeply.
You kiss Amgard deeply.

you for attending, please join us for the reception in the wedding tent"
Amgard stands up.
Weewillow offers you a bouquet of miniature

"There is a reception at the Dance tent"
Nemeisis says, "Thank you for attending, please join
us for the reception in the wedding tent"
Lord Amgard's group just went north.

[Wehnimer's, Outside Dance Tent]
To one side of the wedding glade, a large tent of dark
velvet has been erected. You stand near the entrance flap through which you
can see a large open space set aside for the evening's dancing and festivities.
From time to time, happy couples flushed from dancing and the warmth of the
interior come out to cool themselves or to seek a quieter spot for a moment's
kiss. You also see a festive banner and the tent flap. Also here: Lord Subothai,

[Wehnimer's, Inside Dance Tent]
Heavy velvet forms the roof and sides of this huge
tent. Colored the deep blue of twilight, it is sprinkled with gold and silver
stars that glitter overhead in simulation of the night sky. Softly flickering
candlelight casts fleeting shadows against the tent walls and garlands of
flowers hang in lush profusion all around you. A small band of musicians
plays quietly at the far end of the tent, the sweet sounds of music drifting
through the air. You also see a glass of apple juice, a refreshment tray
with some stuff on it, the tent flap and a small table with some stuff on
it. Also in the room: Lord Subothai, Lord Danelo, Lady Weewillow, Lady Nemeisis,
Lord Amgard, Alexxah, Lady Grobinal, Rithmix, Deathrezzer, GameMaster Miriani,

the music and pauses to let the listeners chat a bit.
Danelo says, "attention
everyone... I'd like to make a toast as is tradition for the best man"
Miriani exclaims, "A toast! Quiet everyone!"
Amgard recites:
"A rum toast everyone get a glass"
Danelo recites:
"Amgard my Brother, for many lives
My friend that better not take any more wives"
Danelo glances at Amgard.

Danelo recites:

eyes glaze over slightly and his face pales. Subothai is stunned!
Rubyxx takes a bite of her lobster tail.
Danelo says, "to My friends"
Korgull takes a bite of his wedding cake.
Aboodabi is about to indulge himself with a buttery
lobster tail!
Bloodlost is about to toast himself
with a tankard of frothy dwarven lager!
Rauny takes a drink from her black demon rum. Rauny's
eyes glaze over slightly and her face pales. Rauny is stunned!
Korgull takes a bite of his wedding cake.
The soft melodies of a silver-stringed harp and an alto
recorder fill the evening air as the musicians begin a song echoing
the soft breezes of spring.
Danelo says, "and family"
You glance at the banner above...
It reads:
