[A Bright Meadow]
Towering trees surround a large patch of green grass dusted with
colorful wild flowers. Over the treetops, snow-covered peaks are outlined
against the clear sky. Four poles wrapped with silk ribbons surround an altar
of carved wood from which delicate garlands of flowering vines hang down
to the ground. You also see a bowl of rolton stew, some pink rose incense
and a pink rose-shaped candle.
The Guests:
Solmar, Nemador, Lady Amberain, Lord Nightvision, Excalibreak, Lady Cerridween,
Wutaki, Lady Kissendyl, Sage Tolli, Shinoo, Lady Jekyzia, Lynnsay, Journeyman
Nevik, Lord Haashek, the Lady Opheleeah, Lord Andaryel who is seated, Deva,
Swetelove, Lady Sylesta, Melandri, Kyion, Skern, Demiloa, Violenttmoon, Krynna,
Renault, Lolli, Minki, Lord Knewl, Razina, Sinders, Lady Aprilsoft, Traipse,

Deva sashays gracefully up to a carved wood altar and curtsies.
The Priestess:
Deva Vestri the Sylvankind Acolyte. She appears to be in her 40's, has unkempt,
long light brown hair, hazel eyes, and tanned skin. She is wearing a carved
onyx wedding band, a crystal amulet, a silver cross pendant, a delicate rose,
a silver triple-moon armband, a spray of white jasmine, a beautifully carved
snowbird locket, a black pearl hairpin, an etched mermaid silver bracelet,
a smoke grey spidersilk cloak, a light steel alloy shoulder sheath, a rolaren
banded eonake shield, some thigh-high black leather boots, a silvery Jaston
sash, some silver iceblossom earrings, and a crown of snow white blossoms.
A small draft catches the flame of a pink rose-shaped candle and it flickers
brightly.
Deva recites:
"We have all come to witness the Holy Union of Lord Excalibreak and Lady
Amberain"
A faint aroma of rose fills the room.
Deva recites:
"But first I would like to present the Best Man, Lord Wutaki, and lovely
Lady Kissendyl, sister of the bride, and Matron of honor"
A wisp of smoke rises from a pink rose-shaped candle as the hot wax drips
and splutters.
Lady Kissendyl just arrived.
Matron of Honour:
Lady Kissendyl Silverbreeze the Half-Elf Mercenary. She appears to be in
her 40's, has shoulder length, curly golden blond hair, blue eyes, and tanned
skin. She has a golden pegasus tattoo on her waist, a winged heart tattoo
on her ear, a black unicorn tattoo on her neck, an elegant unicorn tattoo
on her thigh, a prancing unicorn tattoo on her ankle, and a long blond ponytail.
She is holding a small cedar ring case in her right hand. She is wearing
a ruby-linked rose gold ankle chain, some snow-white dagger-shaped earrings,
a diamond bangle bracelet, a gold earcuff set with a large brilliant blue
sapphire, a silver-link moon opal bracelet, a silver band inlaid with ruby
hearts, a gold ring, a crystal amulet, a snow-white bone haircomb, some
thigh-high silver laced boots, a snowcat fur trimmed velvet ballgown, a white
snowcat fur wrap, and a kelyn friendship ring.
Snowstar just hugged Kissendyl.
Snowstar just gave Kissendyl a smooch.
Splice waves to Kissendyl.
Kyion just hugged Kissendyl.
Kyion just gave Kissendyl a smooch.
Deva just gave Kissendyl a smooch.
A bit of melted wax drips from a pink rose-shaped candle with a hiss.
The flame jumps, burning high for a moment, then settles into a warm glow.
The faint scent of rose fills the air.
Kissendyl walks gracfully down the aisle.
As the sun settles to the horizon, the clearing is bathed in honey-gold
light.
Snowstar plucks several harmonic tones as delightful as the quiescent songs
of shy faeries.
Wutaki ambles down the aisle until he reaches the altar, appearing casually
unconcerned with the gathered crowd.
Best Man
Wutaki Tarkea the Giantman Guide. He appears to be in his 70's, has short,
straight dark brown hair, blue eyes, and tanned skin. He has a soaring silver
dragon tattoo on his arm, a moon and stars tattoo on his ankle, and a crescent
moon tattoo on his finger. He is holding a small cedar ring case in his left
hand. He is wearing some forest green brigandine, a crystal amulet, a colorful
patchwork felt hat, a belt pouch, some dwarven infantry boots, a translucent
spidersilk backpack, a long black satin-collared cloak, some supple black
leather gloves, a cobra skin belt, a peg leg, a heavy black back sheath,
a puma hide shoulder sheath, a mysterious carved wooden ring, a onyx-inlaid
black leather thigh-sheath, a mithril juggernaut pin, a veniom-plated Ilyan
Cloud charm, some hunter green pants, a blackened myklian scale eyepatch,
a glistening sea-blue buckler, a teal blue satchel, and a gold ring.
Snowstar continues his soft music, providing pleasant background for the
goings-on around him.
Some pink incense emits a tendril of rose-scented smoke, which forms a
lacy pattern in the air before fading away.
Deva smiles at Wutaki.
Lolli turns to Wutaki and cheers!
Sinders grins at Wutaki.
Nevik applauds Wutaki.
Wutaki turns towards Deva and renders a sharp hand salute.
Snowstar embellishes his hushed song with an exquisite fall of notes as pure
as raindrops across chimes.
Deva recites:
"And might we please observe a silence for the entrance of Lord Excalibreak!"
Excalibreak just arrived.
Excalibreak strides purposefully toward the altar, radiating confidence.
The Groom:
Excalibreak Castle'Point the Half-Elf. He appears to be in his 60's, has
short, straight dark brown hair, blue eyes, and fair skin. He has a coiled
red dragon tattoo on his arm, and a lightning bolt tattoo on his neck. He
is holding a snifter of 75 year old cognac in his right hand. He is wearing
a platinum etched wedding band, a midnight black hat emblazoned with arcane
runes spiraling up a peaked tip, an embossed silver medallion, an ebon-hued
silk shirt, a formal black velvet surcoat embroidered with a silver-threaded
crescent moon, a pair of midnight black gloves embroidered with veniom-threaded
lightening bolts, some veniom-threaded midnight black trousers intricately
stitched with silver runes, and a pair of midnight black veniom-threaded
boots embossed with lightening bolts.
The Guests applaud and cheer for the Groom.
Excalibreak strikes a heroic pose.
Deva recites:
"Please prepare to turn you eyes to the exquisite Lady Amberain!"
Some pink smoke wafts up from the rose incense, sending tendrils of fragrance
throughout the room.
Lady Amberain just arrived.
Sumptuous silk ripples gracefully around Amberain as she approaches the altar,
her movement lending the illusion of flight to the butterflies stitched on
her gown.
The Bride:
Lady Amberain Moard the Human Mercenary. She appears to be in her 60's, has
long, braided golden blond hair, violet eyes, and fair skin. She has a tattooed
symbol of Ronan on her forearm, a white bunny tattoo on her neck, a bumblebee
tattoo on her ankle, and a deep red rose tattoo on her waist. She is holding
a lavish bouquet in her right hand. She is wearing some white lace gloves
elegantly embroidered with emerald beads and clasped with heart-shaped crystals,
a soft white lace and silk gown, a soft white handbag embroidered with
emerald-threaded butterflies, a soft white lace shoulder wrap, a small silver
locket, a long white lace veil trailing from a circlet of white roses, a
pair of diamond-dusted spidersilk stockings embroidered with emerald butterflies,
and a pair of white high-heeled slippers adorned with ankle chains of linked
emeralds.
The Guests applaud and cheer as the gaze in awe upon the Bride.
Excalibreak and Amberain gaze fondly at each other..
Amberain smiles and nods in greeting to Deva.
Parlaque smiles and whispers a bit loudly to Sinders "Gods she IS
Beautiful!
Amberain blushes a lovely shade of bright pink.
Krynna throws her head back and howls!
Opheleeah says, "absoluly stunnin"
Violenttmoon says, "You look beautiful Lady Amberian"
Sinders says, "You're very pretty, lady."
Nevik exclaims, "she is so beautifull!"
Skern says, "beautiful"
Deva recites:
"When faced with the torrential winds and rain, we bow down. We are all at
the mercy of the gods, and what they wield in the world as we see it. Phoen
Commands the light, and it is so."
Deva recites:
"Ronan commands the night, and it is so.These opposites exist with respect
for each other to create the rhythyms that we call life. They do not merely
exist as opposites...but as compliments."
Deva recites:
"The lands of Elanthia exist as a constant...revealed to us through various
shades of light."
Deva recites:
"It has been documented that there are rare occurences when a special light
finds its way to two beings in the same moment in time."
A handsomely marked black and green butterfly flutters above the grass,
dancing in a spiral around an ethereal cream-colored butterfly.
Deva recites:
"We can thank Phoen and Ronan for allowing that light, but we have only Oleani
to thank for guiding that light to Excalibreak and Amberain. "
Wutaki blinks quickly, and you could swear his eyes glistened slightly. As
he wipes at them he says, "Must have been the setting sunlight in me eyes."
Deva recites:
"As the gods have the ability to create the storm and stress of life, they
also have an ability to create the constants. "
Deva recites:
"All those present here today will take away the gift of having witnessed
the most blessed of all constants. The blessing is of the gods, as they grant
this union of Amberain and Excalibreak."
Deva recites:
"So much of life is spent in a struggle to find the truth. Let us give thanks
to the gods for allowing us to witness a part of the greater truth of life
here today."
Amberain gazes fondly at Excalibreak.
Soft wisps of scented smoke waft from the rose incense. Deva
recites:
"Amberain, can you express the ways that your soul reveals the truth of your
bond to this man?"
Amberain nods to Deva.
Amberain smiles at Excalibreak.
Amberain says, "My love tell me the things that go through you. Go on for
hours if you want to. I see intentions, and they all collide in my mind.
"
Amberain says, "Only the gods could allow me to complete your thoughts without
flaw. I hardly have to try to read your mind. I know you see me just as
completely, but it isn't as simple as looking through glass. "
Amberain smiles at Excalibreak.
The rose-shaped candle flickers softly, casting a warm light throughout
the area.
Amberain says, "A soul is so much more like a crystal, with so many surfaces
each of which reflects a different light. That you touch each of my dimensions,
as I do yours, is no slight coincidence. "
(Haashek hands Ophe a tissue)
Amberain says, "Some people spend all their lives looking for a place called
home. The House of the Phoenix has always been my home, but that never satisfied
my wandering heart. "
Lolli sniffs.
Nevik sniffs.
Skern sniffs.
Amberain smiles at Excalibreak.
Amberain says, "There was no end to that restlessness till the day I met
you. Excalibreak, you opened the heart of this adventurer to Phoen's light,
which has blinded me from all my pains ever since. "
Amberain says, "Within that light, there is a voice that tells me that I
should be ready at any moment to sacrifice what I am for what I could become.
"
Amberain gazes fondly at Excalibreak.
Amberain says, "Such is the nature of a true and enduring love. I am prepared
for trial and tribulation, my love, for I know that I could never truly
appreciate you without these things."
Parlaque weeps softly, quiet tears falling from her eyes.
Minki gazes in awe at Amberain.
Solmar weeps softly, quiet tears falling from his eyes.
Violenttmoon smiles softly.
Amberain says, "The storm and stress of love is not a test of love. It is
inevitable. But I approach you without any fear in my heart, because I know
no end for the passion that I feel for you."
Amberain smiles at Excalibreak.
A pink rose-shaped candle burns with a warm golden light.
Deva says, "Excalibreak....very few men enjoy the honor of standing next
to such an exquisite lady in their lives. You have the priveledge of standing
next to her as her husband for all eternity."
Deva asks, "Are there words to express your eternal adoration for this most
lovely work of the gods?"
A mischievous breeze catches the ends of the silken ribbons wrapped around
the poles bracketing the altar, tossing them about like streamers.
Excalibreak says, "There are so many things that go unnoticed in life. The
revelation that the very air I breathe is full of it's own energy was staggering,
although it had been there all my life."
Excalibreak says, "The sudden awareness of such things has a most wonderful
quality."
Amberain gazes fondly at Excalibreak.
Sinders bites her lip.
Nevik sniffs.
Parlaque weeps softly, quiet tears falling from her eyes.
Excalibreak says, "It's just like a conversation with a strange and beautiful
woman knowing that the gods have something planned for your future together."
Excalibreak says, "I shake now, being the witness of a subtle prophecy coming
into being."
Excalibreak says, "That I have been chosen to be a part of a greater plan
is a heavy weight to bear, but I know I will never feel the burden as long
as I have my lady by my side."
Amberain smiles at Excalibreak.
Excalibreak says, "My need to channel Phoen's strength subsides with one
loving look from my love Amberain. The gods gave us memories so that we might
have roses in the winter."
Excalibreak says, "All my memories of our times together are flooding into
me now, at this time when we have come to create one of the most wonderful
memories of all."
Excalibreak and Amberain smile lovingly at each other.
The glow from a pink rose-shaped candle softly illuminates the room.
Excalibreak says, "And I am not afraid of the cold. I know I will never know
it again as long as I feel your warmth running through me."
Excalibreak says, "My love, I have no more words, the rest of my devotion
I will deliver in other ways, in time, throughout all time."
Amberain gazes fondly at Excalibreak.
Excalibreak smiles at Amberain.
Deva recites:
"Lord Wutaki and Lady Kissendyl, would you please present the bands of
everlasting life and love?"
Kissendyl offers Deva a small cedar ring case. Deva accepts.
Wutaki offers Deva a small cedar ring case. Deva accepts.
Deva removes a platinum etched wedding band from in her cedar ring case.
Deva raises her etched wedding band skyward!
The last golden rays of sunlight glow off the rare platinum, lending the
illusion of luminescence for a moment.
Deva offers Amberain the platinum etched wedding band and she accepts.
The glow from a pink rose-shaped candle softly illuminates the room.
Deva removes a platinum etched wedding ring from in her cedar ring case.
Deva raises her etched wedding ring skyward!
Tiny glimmers in the twilight sky shyly peek out, revealing themselves
as the first stars of the evening.
Deva offers Excalibreak a platinum etched wedding ring. He accepts.
A cinnamon brown squirrel scampers up the trunk of one of the massive
trees, stopping to chitter curiously at those in the glade before disappearing
from sight.
Deva recites:
"Lord Excalibreak, lovely Lady Amberain, please exchange your bands with
all the sentiment you can summon."
Amberain slides a platinum etched wedding band onto Excalibreak's finger.
Excalibreak slides a platinum etched wedding band onto Amberain's finger.
Deva recites:
"Lord Excalibreak, Lady Amberain, as the gods have ordained, I do pronounce
you man and wife by the Constant Shining of the Stars!"
The guests applaud, cheer and shed a joyful tear for the newly wedded
couple.
Lolli bursts into tears!
Minki laughs with delight, her eyes full of merriment.
Krynna lets out a cheer!
Nightvision applauds.
Opheleeah weeps softly, quiet tears falling from her eyes.
Solmar raises his dark rum in a toast!

"And by all means, kiss yer lovely bride!"
Excalibreak smiles at Amberain.
Amberain smiles at her new husband and closes her eyes for a moment.
Excalibreak embraces Amberain in their first passionate kiss as husband and
wife.
The guests throw handfuls of rice, petals and confetti up into the air,
and it floats down in a cloud around Excalibreak and Amberain!
Amberain says, "thank you everyone"
Haashek recites:
"I would like to make a toast to the Beautiful couple..May your time together
be eternal with generous blessings & jopyous years of please between
you"
