Message Another 'In memory of'.. (128)
By STORMYRAIN@PLAY.NET (Loremistress)
On Mar 22, 2000 at 16:26
I am sorry to be the one that has to write this message, but I learned today
that Tezeal's player also passed away recently at the age of 26.
His father asked that I post it here so that all who knew him would be aware
of what happened. Garrett was in a car wreck in November that gave him a
serious concussion, what was not found out until too late was that it also
damaged his pituitary gland, which then lead to diabetes. He passed away
Sunday as a result. His family is asking that in lieu of any flowers being
sent to the family, that donations be made in the name of Garrett Kochy to
the American Diabetes Association.
Such tragedy lately to people who were so young. I pray that they have peace
and that strength finds their families and friends in this time of need.

Message Meladwyn's memory (141)
By MICHELLE@PLAY.NET

Garrett, Meladwyn's soul, was a kind and fiercely loyal man. His willingness
to help others was how I met him. He found me laying dead out in blasted
cobras (does that tell how little I was). Anyway, he dragged me all the way
back to town for healing and raising. Of course I had to listen to his lecture
about being out in cobras at my young age the whole trip. But he refused
to leave me stranded.
We became friends and he introduced me to his family and the wonderful "people
of the garret." I had never had family, and all of a sudden I had a whole
slew of family. Every blooming one of them adopted me. If I try to name folks,
I'll leave too many out...You know who you are!
Love grew out of friendship. We had a great time together laughing, playing,
talking, planning, etc. We married and had a splendid time. Time passed,
too quickly, and he departed from the Elanthian world. I missed him
greatly...Part of me still does, always will I suppose.
He did make his way back into Elanthia later, but as Tezeal. Again, he was
just amazing, but he didn't belong to me anymore.
He was one of the best players of Gemstone I have ever seen. It saddens my
heart to know he is no longer in this world we call real. But I hope he has
at last found peace.
As Dremi so well put it..."May you find Valhalla dear friend."
Sincerely, Mikaylyn
