In Memory of Angela Mais
~aka Angelbee

Friday, Mar 8th, 2002 the player of Angelbee, Angela Mais, was killed in an auto accident by a drunk driver. :(
If any of you knew her and would like to say a few words to add to the page,
send it to me and i'll make sure it gets on the page.

Thank you

Angelbee Maalosad the Giantman Skald.
She appears to be in her 40's, has shoulder length, wavy golden blond hair, blue eyes, and tanned skin.
She has a long blond ponytail.
She is wearing a violet ribbon braided belt, and a silver-chased black opal locket...

Angelbee hunted the thunder troll area and ocoma vale area but the park in Wehnimer's was her main hangout. She leaves behind her brother Belgariond, her daughter Vif, her mate Lunatick and many friends in Elanthia.

Twenty two year old Angela Mais, a college student in Oregon, left behind her younger sister Jennifer, her Mother, Marie and Father, Johnathon , her friend and roommate as well as other family members and friends both online and off.

Angela was a kind, sweet and funny person. She liked to help out at the Salvation Army kitchen feeding the homeless, loved playing matchmaker with her friends and she was very smart. She wanted to be a physcologist, and work with kids mostly. She didn't like parties much but enjoyed going to the movies and the mall. Her favorite colors were white and Gold and she loved musical instruments, especially the therbo.

She was everyone's friend...hard to find someone that did NOT like her...

"Angela LOVED playing volleyball. Everytime she went to the beach she made us play. LOL, one time she forgot to pack the volleyball, and she made us drive to every store in Florence just so she could buy one."

"She was a night person, truly hated getting up in the morning. She loved animals, but not my dog much. She said he was mental. LOL, but she always took care of him when I wasn't at home. And she went to our neighbors alot to play with her dog."

"What kind of music did she listen to?"
"Rock n roll/alternative, her favorite group was Voice of the Beehive, she kept playing their songs over & over "

A few days ago, Angelbee, who was loved by everyone who came across her in game, was hit by a drunk driver and killed. With her were friends. Angelbee was one of the best roleplayers out there, as well as a loving and caring person. Our thoughts go out to her family, as well as the family of the friends who were with her. If you have any questions, or thoughts, please contact either Shadowmaiden or myself. We are putting together a memorial for her, either tonight or tomorrow.

Angelbee, you were too young to leave us. I just hope you knew how much your friends cared for you and loved you. The world truely did lose an Angel, but Heaven just gained one more. You are in a better place now, and I hope that one day, we all will meet again. But until then, you will forever be present in the thoughts and minds of those who loved you. You will live on. Love you hun.

~ Nathan/Robinblood

I just heard the news this morning from Shadowmaiden and I am in shock. I enjoyed spending time with Angelbee and she was a real sweet person and as Robinblood say she was a damn good roleplayer.

It's such a shame to have to lose someone because of the idiocy of another. I hope the person who did this realizes that they tore away her chance to live her full life, but we must remember that things happen for a reason. Hopefully she is in a better place and happy to know that she will be missed here as well as outside of the game.

My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends.

~ Christina, player of Augie

I am ... well In shock.. I cannot believe that we have lost her.. She was a very sweet girl.. a hell of a GS player.. and well most of all... she was a friend..

Well she is in a better place now... I bet they have a GS up there as well... I dunno! I really do not know what to say... so I will leave it at this.....

Fare well Angelbee Ill see you someday.

My Deepest sympathy to all friends and family...

~ Yashar

I'd just like to say.. i was lucky to have been able to count Angelbee as one of my good friends. I'm deeply saddened by her passing, and my heart goes out to her family and friends. I'd also like to say, and after such an ordeal shouldn't really have to, but please.. god.. don't drink and drive.. there are other peoples lives at stake.. I don't think the world can afford to lose such fine people.. lord knows there are few enough of them as it is..

So.. farewell Angelbee.. i hope.. whereever you are.. you realize that we all love you.. and will remember you always.

I was shocked since shawdowmaiden told me about angelbee this morning, and now that the shock has faded i feel a great sense of loss both for angelbee and her friends and family but also for myself for i have lost a close friend who i have shared many happy times with in elanthia.

I wish it wasn't so, that somhow I could change the past but i cannot, and so my thoughts go out to angelbee and her family. She was a bright and cheerfull person, well liked and she always made me laugh, i want to thank her again for these fond memeries.

Ya know she was almost my girlfriend in gs :) but i met a girl 2 days before.....i couldnt choose, so i trusted fate. But it was a close one, and ive always wondered what if....

may you find peace angelbee, ya know I luvs ya, ive told you often enuff :)

Having felt the sting of losing one so dear, my prayers go out to Angelbee's family and friends, here and there. It is a tragedy that a beautiful, promising life is cut so short without ever reaching it's full potential. It's a crime that it happens all too often. Again, I will pray for the lives of those left behind to mourn and am truly sorry for the loss.

In my first post on any boards.. It breaks my heart to say goodbye to a friend. Though I hadnt gotten a chance to spend much time with her lately, I will always remember the good times we did have. I never met somone who didnt like her, she was full of cheer and a very special person.... Elanthia has truly lost one of her angels..My sympathys to her family and friends. and to Angelbee.. May your halo shine as bright as your smile, and your music last forever as your memory will here in everyones heart , for you are loved and will always be missed...

~ Player Of Mirakrye

I've never met Angelbee's character, or her player. But I would like to offer my deepest sympathies and condolences to her friends and family. It saddens and angers me to hear of stories like these.

I hate to be the aggressive one...but I pray that they nail the driver's head to a wall.

~ Daeveran's player

::Frowns:: Angelbee was one I never met, but I am sorry all the same. Alcohol is a very very dangerous drug and not just to those who consume it as we've seen. :(

Again, I'm sorry.

~ Kiera

It really kills me and causes me extreme anger to see things like this happen. I went through a similiar experience just over a year ago with a close friends of mine in GS. I hate to see people torn away from us when crap like that happens. I'm with Daeveran's player in the hopes that they destroy the guy. I know I wanted to kill the person who hurt my friend back then for a long time. Off the violent subject... I didn't know Angelbee personally, aside from passing by a few times. She always seemed to be a very pleasant person to be around and was a great addition to the game. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends.

Sincerly,

~ Brian

My name is Mark and I am Lunatick's player. I have been out of the lands for some time due to school so i have not had a chance to write or reflect on the loss of Angelbee. After finally gettin into the lands once again it has finally hit me with such an impact that it pains me to move or think about a place without someone so wonderful and so special. As many people know, in the lands I was her fiancee, but before that we were friends. She was one of the two best friends that I had in the lands. Without her it seems as though a piece of me has died, all because some stupid SOB didn't know when enough was enough. The world is a duller and sadder place without her in it and i know that she will be sorely missed. May she rest in peace and in our hearts forever.

I love you Angelbee.

~ Mark/Lunatick

I was contacted by Shadowmaiden, whom I have known for quite some time, and was told about the loss of Angelbee. I was in shock. I knew her through Lunatick, and the two of them were quite the happy couple.

My condolences reach out to her family and friends. I am thankful that Angelbee considered me to be a part of that elite group. She will be sorely missed.

My name is Jamon, I play Orilion who some of you know was Angelbee's son. I remember the first time that I met Angelbee, i was on my way to the crypt as a youngen and i stumbled on Her and Lunatick outside. She was "sleeping" roltons at the time and for some reason, she put me to sleep. lol... still brings a smile to my face... and a tear to my eye. Long story short... Luna and Angelbee decided to adopt me as their son and from then on my GS experiance was profoundly different.

Orilion was always with Angelbee... I remember being dragged off to a pool for a bath... being slept to take a nap and most of all I remember having a wonderful time with her and always laughing. Though i never much talked to Angela out of charactor, She was indeed as happy, kind and loving as Angelbee was in the game. No one deserves to have thier life taken at such a young age and though this world is just a game... a place of fantasy, her death still hurts me just like as if one my my friends in RL was taken away. She was a friend and I trully did love her (in that mother-child sort of sense). It still hurts when I think of my memories of her...Angelbee... Angela... you truly were an guiding light, a true angel in your friends lives... You will be missed.

~ Jamon/Orilion

Well, I never got to know Angelbee that well, but I do remember interacting with her several times. I'd be lying if I said the time wasn't spent well. She was always pleasant and sweet. She will be missed but always thought of. 'Tis a shame that it seems only the innocent and nice people get caught up in the negative actions of others. If only bad decisions could only affect those that made bad ones as well.

May she rest in peace and be yet another example for us not to drink and drive. Perhaps not to drink at all.

~ Mogonis Bladiana

Our dearest Angel has flown away
to where we can only hope
was where she wished to be.

If you knew this strong young winged lass
say a prayer for those who knew her and
for those that loved her in their time of need.

We that knew that viabrant Angelbee
will never forget the "GOOT" times that she gave us
and the angel KISSES on the nose that
she so often placed with that sweet memory of herself that
we wish would not stop to exsist.

For those that knew her,
my sympathy to you
for I know you loved her a I did.
For those who didn't,
well that angel was someone
I called a "Beautiful Princess".

Her laughter will echo
through our hearts and minds
and forever that smile will linger.
For those who knew Angel not
It was a whole experience you missed.

In memory of a fallen angel
may her wings spread far and wide and take her
to a resting place as beautiful as she was.

~Shadowmaiden

If I could have just one last smile
I wonder what I'd do
Frame it high atop the sky
And mend the world with you

If I could have just one more laugh
To purify my soul
Water it with thoughts of you
And listen to it grow

If I could have a sacred wish
I'd hold it dear and tight
Close my eyes and meet again
Through visions of the night
