This model of "CHINESE SAMPANG" was made more for a joke that for building a real model....

A friend of mine, changing the living room's fornitures completely in a chinese stile, one day  told me that the only thing that was missed there was a chinese river outside the windows and the boats along the river...

I told him that, about the river I can't make anything, but that I could think about a boat. So, more for this joke, I tried to find on some model catalogues a simple boat to build and I was lucky when, at last I found a very simple, but nice model in the  AMATI catalogue.

The ship was really simple to realize in a very short time. I had no possibility to take pics of that, but I can show you the imagine come from the catalogue. The model was the same, just changed in some colours and decorations.

I have no informations about the history of this boat, so this imagine is the only thing I can show you..
