This model of the "GOLDEN STAR" was another little gift to a couple of friends for their new house....

There are not informations about this model, just that it seems to be an English ship (but, if you can see from the pic took from MANTUA MODEL catalog the ship has two flag : english one on the mast and american one on the quarterdeck....)

I choose this model just because it seemed simple to build and not so great to put in a glass case. It was in any case a right choose both for the simply of the building and rigging, and for the dimensione of the model.

I just painted the lower hull by dust white colour and some particulars in dark brown. The rest of the ship remained in natural wood.
