Building Warship Models P.C.Coker CokerCraft Eng One of the most rare and complete books about Warship modeling. Good descriptions about techniques and tips, and hundred and hundred pics of warhip models of all tipe, from pre-dreadnought battleships to latest missile cruisers. This book is available only on second hand bookstore and I suggest any modeler that likes warships to find a copy. It's expensive, but this book is a real  treasure.

CSS Alabama - Anatomy of a Confederate Raider Andrew Bowcock Naval Institute Press Eng Probably the most comprehensive and detailed study on the Confederate Raider CSS Alabama, that for two years sinked or captured many Union ships. A very detailed book, full of pics, drawings, plans and informations that can be used to build a model very close to the real ship.

A very interesting book about Gerrman Fleet, with many coloured drawings pictures and line plans. Unfortunately it's written in german language, but the illustrations help in the understanding.

A very good book, full of detailed informations about Italian "scout" , mainly used in WW2. Very interesting and with many detailed plans and colour tables.
Famous Paddle Steamer F.C . Hambleton Percival Marshall & Co. Ltd Eng. This is a very nice book, printed in 1948, about the paddle steamers of the Channel and Thames river. Interesting about detailed sketches and a good source of ideas for interesting paddle models.

H Chapman, probably one of the mist famous naval architect of all the times. In the book are also illustrated some plans and draughts of his "Architectira Navalis Mercatoria" and other minor works. It's interesting and a good source for a research about models of Swedish Marine

Lusci's Ship Model Builders Handbook V. Lusci Mantua Model Engl. This book was wrote by Vincenzo Lusci, one of the most famous ship model builder in Italy. He was also an excellent designer and his plans of many types of ship, even  sailing or steam vessel are still researched on the market for their beauty. The book is an interesting mix of pics, techniques, tips and information about ships and models.

Interesting sketches, and beautiful coloured plates.

In this book, the author shows new techniques and the pictures of the models (RN Duilio, HMS Victoria, Magnificent, Empress of India, Devastation) that are richful of particulars and source of new ideas for all modelers that (like me) love thus type of warships. Ship Models Illustrated F, Ward Harman Marine Model Company Eng An unusual book of 1961, devoted to the Ship modeling, mainly focused on sailing ships and full of black/white pictures and drawings of ship models, fittings, and many other things that a model builder must to consider when builds a model. Nice book but I saw other more detailed.
