Coleford Junction Signal Box - lever frame

View 2 of Coleford Junction Signal Box lever frame. The facing point lock lever (blue) is seen in its usual
position, ie. 'reversed', while all the other levers are 'normal'. Note the cloth with which all levers
were worked, to avoid sweat marks on the bare steel handles. In the background is the cast-iron wheel which
would be used for opening and closing the level crossing gates, while in the foreground is a Tyer
lock-and-block instrument for the safe storage and dispatch of single line tokens.
