environment belies the prowess and my fellow colleagues which today makes
me a national motivator. My passion for hard work is matched only by the love
for the natural environment and the wealth of its resources.
As my philosophy states “There is no limit to the environment. Therefore
it should be everyone's duty; to protect nature's beauty. The
aesthetic value of the forests must be enjoyed beyond the wildest dreams of
imagination along with the fact that a real man can't live without a
woman. ”
I am the son of Robert Barry Davis and Merle Higgins Brown. I was born in
the parish of St. Ann, Jamaica on June 7th 1983. The month of June is internationally
recognized environmental awareness month because Environmental Day is June
5 and World Ocean Day is June 8. With such recognition I could no less be
a man who is environmentally conscious and friendly.

the Caribbean's largest tourist Attraction Dunn's River Falls.
Dunn's River falls is a natural waterfall that flows along on its way
for several miles to the meet with Caribbean Sea. After completing secondary
education at an institution that is named after one of our seven national

On September 22, 2001 I was a successful participant of the program in particular
the Conservation Corps. After completing one month camp training and discipline
about the various environmental laws and agencies that are related. I was
more energize to even render voluntary service.
By October 29, 2001 I was assigned as
National Youth Service volunteer to the Oho Rios Marine Park. Friends of the
Sea is the organization that in responsible for the operation at the Marine
Park. I will be serving the non-governmental Organization for nine months.

Why did you join the program?
My reason for joining this youth exchange program is to gain a greater understanding
of the vital importance and the use of information technology on a global
level.
What did you achieve?
A great understanding of the Canadian culture, the training of being a First
Aider, the ability to identify hardware components of the computer and their
functions, being able to use the DOS (Disk Operating System) commands to operate
the computer.
What was the funniest thing that happened on the program?
The funniest thing of the program to me is when the group was in Charlottetown.
One Saturday, we were having a potluck at Marlon and David's house.
When we finished eating we were sitting outside talking and enjoying the sunshine,
then Marlon's host parents' dog was barking and jumping up at
Olardo's pants. The dog continued to do so even when Olardo fell to
the ground. The dog was over him and barking and playing with him still!
What are your future plans?
My future plan is to use this acquired knowledge to peruse a career in the
field of Information Technology at a tertiary institution.
