Favorite Songs:
“Judgment Day” by Whitney Houston
“Alive” by (as much as I hate to admit it) Celine Dion
“We've Got Tonight” by Kenny Rodgers
*Note* The above two songs are because of Jamaican influence—it is NOT my fault. I was brain washed.

Why did you join the program?
I wanted to live and work in a different environment from what I was used to. I liked the idea of staying and getting to know a foreign place from the inside rather than just getting the tourist perspective.

What did you achieve?
So much! It is hard to put it into words. Mostly what I gained was a better understanding of myself. I am more in tune to my strengths and weaknesses and have a better idea of how to work effectively within a group environment.

What was the funniest thing that happened on the program?
It would have to be during the mid-project in Canada when Dionne and I sprayed Marlon's precious, untouchable hair with whip cream. (We had a VERY good reason to do this, I'm sure—I just can't remember it at the moment.) We also accidentally got some on Olardo. Anyway, they felt they had to retaliate and did so with a jar of peanut butter. Needless to say, the girls won. Marlon and Olardo were covered in cream and peanut butter in the end. They did manage to get in some good hits, though. Have you ever tried to get peanut butter out of your hair? Trust me, it's no picnic. However, I did discover that crunchy peanut butter is a very good skin exfoliant!

What are your future plans?
Good question! Right now I intend to work full time (hopefully within the graphic design industry or something to do with international development.) I want to go back to school and study in one of these fields. Also, I hope to come back to Jamaica during the summer to visit.
