I'm from the parish of Hanover in Jamaica.
My parish is well known for its tourist attractions (9 miles of white sand
beach) and its famous resorts. I live in a small residential community with
my parents plus my sister and brother. My community is very calm, full of
fun and there are always new things to do and explore.
I am a past student
of the Ruseas High School where I spent my high school/teen years developing
my career objectives and goals, after which I was introduce to the National
Youth Service and later became a successful participant of the education corps.
After finishing the program through my hard work and great interest I was selected
for the JamNet Youth Exchange Program. So I’m now an official JamNet participant.
Hobbies:
Listening to music, reading, watching TV.

Why did you join the program?
To gain experience and knowledge of a different culture, to travel and meet
new friends, try to blend into a different society and most of all to over
come my shyness (of which I did).
What did you achieve?
I improved my IT skills and developed life long relationships with host families
and counterparts.
What was the funniest thing that happened on the program?
Listening to Canadians try to speak patois.
What are your future plans?
To study at the University of the West Indies.
