Runecape isn't at all serious. In Runecape Classic, the community was smaller and players enjoyed joking around with each other. Here is a funny Runescape picture.

Sir Beachy made this fake picture of him ping flooding Gregechidna6.

Ping flooding is basically a way of making another player disconnect from the game, making him an easy target for player killers. This was done by overwhelming another player with ICMP Echo Request (aka ping) packets.

Now, a certain player (Who Da best) admitted ping flooding Lighting who was a moderator-player. It then became something of a fad to blame ping flooding for losing a fight. For example, if someone was experiencing lag while pking then he or she could say "hey you are a sad pker, stop ping flooding me!" as a joke.

This not that funny...unless you were actually there! I am the player in the middle in the black armor.

I was trying to suicide on Dmxkobe8 but instead I killed him. All of the other people around me are actual pkers who were not with me or Dmx. Is it my fault I'm just that good of a pker that I can still get the kill even when I am not even trying?

Kidding, it was not staged but it was all in good fun. Just us Rs players having fun.
