I lost my list of songs for this show. Needless to say, they were classics, every one. This was the first show in which PAM has really aimed to mine the 'asshole' direction. Believe me, we're going to get better/worse as there's a lot of fun to be had in being self-satisfied, self-congratulatory, self-referential and downright hilarious. Anyway, this week Alex told his completely TRUE story of sleeping with a hooker. And we opened the show with my analogue sound experiment to really enthrall our new drivetime listeners.

Even by our own high standards this was great. Abs was on a one grand, hooker fuelled high and whilst other shows have 'issue' guests we had Alexander Groves, who performed a pirate shanty. We ended on my masterful tune, "Little Dogs and Babies" which is dedicated to my two most favourite things.

In response to a tightening of radio regulations PAM took a more issues-led direction. We had a Gay Forum which combined hard-hitting discussion with frivolous and light-weight banter about homosexual issues. Alex discussed drug abuse at Westminster School. And we had a pro-bodybuilder on to answer listeners’ questions about steroids. It felt good to make a difference.
Halo Benders - Planned Obsolescence
Death Cab For Cutie - Lightness
Neutral Milk Hotel - Where You'll Find Me Now
Low - Jack Smith
Bobby Conn - United Nations
Faust - Baby
The Cribs - The Lights Went Out
The Pernice Brothers - Sometimes I Remember
Ben and Jason - Thank You For Laughing
Boaz Philharmonic - We're Still Lovely
Jacques Brel - Quand On a Que L'Amour

For the last show we blew all our well-earned community cred by going back to the basics: sex and hookers. Yes, it was all go as we wrapped PAM up for the year by bringing on a prostitute to do it with Abs. If this reads funny then imagine what it sounded like…
Doug Martsch - Window
Faust - Psalter
Lullaby For The Working Class - In Defence of Abstractions
Death Cab For Cutie - We Looked Like Giants
Boaz Philharmonic - Bogle Ridge Academy
Ben and Jason - See You In My Dreams
Prefab Sprout - Cowboy Dreams (Exclusive Paul Haworth Remix)

Deltron 3030 - Love Story
Halo Benders - Surfers Haze
The Cribs - Things You Should Be Knowing

An extra show was unexpectedly added on for losers of the web only. It was more of an unofficial end to PAM for which we did no preparation, relying on just our natural wit and ability. The songs were old favourites. We had a Real Life American guesting as a gesture of solidarity between the world’s two most popular countries and had a UK-USA song-off. And Alex closed the show by telling a HILARIOUS anecdote. If any of you ever meet Alex and have a few minutes to spare then ask him to tell you the story of the traffic counter on Magdalen Bridge. It’s a riot, laugh out loud and then some funny.
