He turned out to be Mitani. Hikaru found Mitani playing Go in Go Center. Sai spotted Mitani cheating during the game. Mitani left with 1000 Yen rewards after winning the game. Back to Top Round 20 -- The Third Member Hikaru pulled Mitani into joining the Go club. Tsutsui played against Mitani, but Mitani tricked him into losing. Tsutsui wasn't too happy to have someone that cheat to join the club. Mitani back to the Go Center and had a 10000 Yen bet with an old man. Hikaru and Sai rushed in to stop Mitani from cheating. Meanwhile, Mitani realised that he was being tricked by the old man. Back to Top Round 22 -- Honinbo Shusaku Mitani lost the bet and left bitterly. Hikaru played with the old man to gain Mitani's money back. Hikaru with Sai's help, won the match easily. Back to Top Round 23 -- Tsutsui's Fear Hikaru returned Mitani's money, in return he had to joined the Go club. Tsutsui feared that Mitani might cheat during the competition. Despite Akira's plead to be the third captain to play against Hikaru, Yun sensei put him in the First captain position. Back to Top Round 24 -- Kaioh Third Captain The day of the competition finally came. Tsutsui was still in the bad mood for having Mitani in the team. Hikaru was shocked that Kaioh Third captain turned out to be Akira. A flashback of Akira begging Yun sensei to let him be the Third captain. Back to Top Round 25 -- Pre-Match Tsutsui recognized Mitani's strength and told him not to cheat. After meeting Kishimoto, Mitani decided to prove his strength without cheating.
