However Kaga lost the match. He admitted that Kaioh Junior High was indeed great in Go. Soon he noticed Akira's present. He was surprised to see how serious Akira was as he observed Hikaru's match. Meanwhile, Tsutsui was about to give up the match, when he suddenly noticed a way to turn the table. Tsutsui realised that what Kaga'd said was true. He was able to notice more without his book. Tsutsui's opponent eventually conceded defeat. Tsutsui almost unable to believe that he WON. He looked at Kaga's seat to share his happiness, but Kaga wasn't there. Kaga was looking at Hikaru's match, and the match was over. Hikaru won.

Everyone was shocked to hear that Kaioh had lost. However, that wasn't for long until someone who recognized Hikaru pointed out that Hikaru was still in Primary Six (only Junior High student can participate ^^;;). So Hikaru's team ended up being disqualified. Hikaru was worried about the Go club. Before leaving, Kaga told Hikaru that what he had said before "about what will happen if they lost" was just a BIG lie. Akira who was there, praised Hikaru's match and wished that he could be Hikaru's opponent. He also told Hikaru that he won't run away anymore (meaning that he will challenge Hikaru). Hikaru himself realised the difference between his Go ability and Akira's. He was still so far away from Akira but from now on, this shall be his starting point.
