Character Introduced: Kaga
Both Sai and meijin was astonished to see Hikaru as he put the Go stone beautifully onto the Go board. Hikaru himself looking at his hand in disbelief. Overwhelmed, Hikaru dashed out of the room, leaving the match unfinished. Then Ogata Sensei asked how was Hikaru's skill. Meijin wasn't confirmed as the match just begin. However he realised there was something different in the last piece of Go stone Hikaru played. It seemed to mean much more.
Hikaru thought he did that because of Sai, but Sai told him that it was purely Hikaru. Sai tried to convince Hikaru by asking him to do the same thing using a stone on the ground. Of course, Hikaru did very badly ^^;; Hikaru still concluded that it was Sai's doing. However Hikaru admitted that he was truly awed by how Meijin's placed the Go stones. At that moment, Hikaru met Akari who was passing by the park with her dog. She asked Hikaru to go out with her to her sister Junior High School's fair, as she got 2 free coupons. Hikaru said he will not go eventhough Akari insisted him to go.
Hikaru did show up on the fair, but Akari was nowhere to be seen. Hikaru was so frustated since he didn't bring any money with him. He thought Akari will be there to treat him lunch for coming. Sai noticed a Go booth and asked Hikaru to have a look. Hikaru went to see reluctantly. A boy with glasses, Tsutsui, was there (which appeared in chapter 3 during The Children Go's competition.) He was giving prizes to those who can answers questions about Go problems. When Sai knew that one of the prizes was Touya Meijin's Go Manual, he begged Hikaru to get it for him.
Hikaru attempted to answer the first problem by himself and he managed to get it correct, but he got a tissue paper as the prize. So Hikaru asked for harder problems, and Sai answered it easily. Tsutsui and the people surrounded Hikaru was amazed. But the prize was only a can of soda. Hikaru asked for the most difficult question. Tsutsui said that he had to be the same level as Touya Akira to be able to answer it. From Tsutsui, Hikaru realised Akira was a highly recognized Go player. Then Tsutsui showed Hikaru the last problem, but before Hikaru answered, a guy came and gave the answer away by placing his cigarattes onto the Go board. The guy, Kaga, smiled evilly as he claimed that Go was a boring game and they should play Shougi instead. He also claimed that Touya Akira was nothing against him.
