A couple of months ago, Seminole County and the city of Casselberry embarked on a significant traffic calming project involving Kewannee Trail and Derbyshire Road here in the area. We commend the authorities here for NOT putting down additional speedbumps! We know they were under pressure from uninformed sources to do so. We know that speedbumps kill more people than they save. With that in mind, we would appreciate Seminole County giving some consideration to pulling up existing speedbumps. We've taken some pictures of the chicanes, curb-extensions and pedestrian refuges and you can take a look at them here simply by clicking on the circled numbers on the map.
